Le'Veon Bell RB-PITSun, Sep 23 at 1:03pm

The Steelers are now listening to trade offers for Bell (contract dispute), leagues sources informed Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: With Bell showing no indication that he's planning to sign his franchise tender anytime soon and looking increasingly unlikely to report to the Steelers until Week 11, it appears Pittsburgh is now intent on getting something in return for the star running back before he becomes a free agent during the offseason. It's unclear if any team is willing to meet Pittsburgh's asking price for the 26-year-old, but the fact that the Steelers are at least receptive to trade pitches offers some degree of optimism that Bell might make his season debut before the second half of the season.

The Steelers really don't have any power in trade talks

We don't need him. The cost would be way too high. AP can get us through this year (and maybe another) and Guice is back next year.

WOW! they are really screwing this up! All they had to do is sign their MVP to a new contract or at worse hold serious negotiations if he reports. There was talk about him failing his teammates but this is his only leverage and opportunity to get the money that he deserves.

Why would we trade for him? Hes not playing for us either?

Also would be stupid on top of that unless they dumped him on us for free

He is doing exactly what cousin Kirk done. Which is using the franchise tag against the team. Smart business

Ummm...hell no. So we get rid of one contract dispute to import another? The guy you want to bring in is refusing to even play for his expected SB contending team, letting them all down. Hell no.
