Last year, Watson goes off until his injury and so far he's off to a poor start not playing anywhere near that level. Goes to show that defenses get film in a offseason and they have no answer for most rookies or first year starters. Look at Josh Allen today.

Should this be ringing alarm bells for Maholmes fans? He is the Deshawn Watson of this season so far.

Well to be fair. Watson hasnt played at all for a very long time. it would be reasonable to say he is gonna start out rusty. Although DC's are good with game tape.
As far as Mahomes. if I am the Chiefs I just enjoy the ride.

I mean... the Andy Reid starts fast meme was gonna happen regardless if the Chiefs didn't fall on their face.

And no, I am not worried. Andy Reid and staff have shown they can adjust to changing gameplans from defenses. Zone killed them last year, now they just shredded 3 of them.

Obviously Mahomes wasn't going to throw 86 TD's or whatever idiotic number it was at the end of the 1st half today. He may get to 40 though just because of the weapons around him.

13 games to go and he's already at 13. Would need to throw 2 TD's a game and change to get to 40.
