Only thing now is to hope they suck enough to draft Bosa because the 9ers are in desperate need of a pass rusher.

Yes- but dominant DT's are harder to find than Edge guys. It's a quandary- but I side with the DT just because they're hard to find. Chiefs are gonna let Dee Ford go, fwiw.

It's a legit debate, but Oliver is a lot better than the other edge guys that'd be available if the 49ers just tank. And there will be FA options at edge this year. I think it makes sense.

I think with Buckner (a very good/great player already) inside, and moving Thomas permanently inside (where he should be anyways), SF will be fine there. It's edge rusher or bust.
