Edit - Title should say "I've *been* saying Mike Zimmer sucks ass for YEARS."

Terrible Head Coach. He has stretches where his teams do well simply because the owners are happy to open up their wallets to try building a winner. However, they always end up imploding due to horse chit leadership, which starts with Mike Zimmer. They look completely lost out there, like the entire team got drunk right before the game.

It's one thing to lose a game, but it's another to have total meltdowns. The 2017 season NFC Championship where they let Nick Foles destroy their "#1 ranked defense" and took a huge chit on offense, going 8-8 after starting 5-0 in 2016, multiple defensive players publicily admitting they ignored Zimmer's orders against rival Green Bay in 2016 because they didn't buy into his plan, etc. A great head coach doesn't have these things happen when he's given at least average overall talent, and yet Zimmer manages it even when he has a team capable of competing for a title in terms of talent.

My Vikes are about to be 1-2-1 after facing the Rams this Thursday when they shoukd have been at least 3-1-0. Zimmer blew the fkn Green Bay game by not going for a damn TD on the clearly gassed Packers D and instead trusting his kicker who was already sukking donkey balls that whole game. They won't do it, but they should can his ass after this Buffalo Bills meltdown at home. I'd literally rather see Brad Childress coaching them against the Rams on TNF.

Don't care if they make a miracle comeback either. They should have curb stomped Buffalo today.

I think if GB and MIN swapped head coaches they'd both be better off.

I'd take McCarthy over Zimmer, even though I've always thought he got carried by Favre and Rodgers quite a bit. Zimmer is hands down the most overrated coach in the league of the past ~3 years. Way too many complete and utter meltdowns to justify making excuses for him anymore. Most of my fellow Vikings fans pissed and moaned about Brad Childress to no end, but I honestly think he was way better than Zimmer. Zimmer is just more likeable in press conferences, that's it.

Vikes about to take an offensive snap in Buffalo territory for the first time in the game with 9:51 remaining in the 3rd, down 27-0 at home... lmao at anyone still calling Zim a quality coach, just lmao. Dude even manges to be worse than Mike Tice at clock management!

I cited several examples backing up my case. This game is just one of many examples of his team showing up completely unprepared. I could gather up a bunch of local former high school football player drunks and get similar results out of them as Zim is out of the Vikings today.

Zimmer is a my way or the highway head coach. That works if you win, but obviously gets old quickly. Vikes have one of if not the best roster in the NFL and a shiny new franchise qb.

McCarthy has had the same message for 13 years with some success and a SB, but with Rodgers has struggled to have a competent defense for most of his tenure.

Put McCarthy in charge of a Cousins led offense with that defense and I think they finally win a SB.

Put Zimmer in charge of a talented but young defense in GB with a HOF qb and they probably get another one before Rodgers retires.

Lol

Cousins fumbles determined this game.

And Dalvin Cook clearly changes a defensive scheme.

Id be willing to see our entire FO, coaching staff and ownership traded for Zimmer.

Id also be open to that trade for a ham sandwich though. Fwiw.

We're more than happy to take him back in our staff if Vikings' fans really feel that way.

I know Carlson missed some kicks but this kind of feels like karma for Zimmer basically kicking him while he was down. Talking about the press conference where he was just a dick when talking about him.

Fucking karma for being a dick about the kicker they cut. Just let the guy go. You don't need to be a total cocksucker in public about it.

The dude just got spanked by the Bills in Minnesota. Haha!
