Blanco's 0 for 5 today reminded me how the dude broadcasting with Jon Miller (don't know who it was - a former pitcher - but didn't hear his name) yesterday was raving about Blanco's approach since he came back up from the minor leagues. That approach has not been working - he's hitting .160/.222/.240 in 50 at-bats since August 29th, counting today's game.

That was a great play by Gorkys and these announcers call it like a ho-hum no-biggie casual pop up to right.

Meantime, the Cards pop out to deep short and they lose their shit like it was a walk off HR in the 10th.
