I watched his documentary. Dude is a total mess. But apparently, other comics are in awe of the guy. He has no limits on his material, and that blows other comics away at how far he will take a joke.

That’s how I feel about Harland Williams. I’ve only seen his stand up once when it was featured on some HBO or Comedy Central thing, it was painfully bad, probably by design, but I’ve heard him on the radio or in podcasts a few times, just being interviewed or guest hosting, and he was hilarious.

Step Brothers was good, but it's a couple of notches below Anchorman. If I'm asked to name best comedies of all-time Anchorman automatically comes up; Step Brothers doesn't.

The Cable Guy was "ok" at best.
Andrew Dice Clay was really good in the beginning but faded fast with his one trick act.
Adam Sandler used to be very funny now he's terrible.
Mike Meyers was also great with some of his initial characters and now he sucks too.

I actually have a lot of respect for Sandler. Sure, his movies kinda suck now, but he doesn’t give a shit. He keeps them family friendly and HE likes them. He has put himself in a position where he is a golden goose, so he makes sure he includes his family and he enjoys what he does. Fuck what anyone else likes/wants.
You gotta respect that.
