Mayfield looked really good last night. He looked decisive in his throws. The way he played in the pocket, going through his reads, and making his throws. Seemed to have a lot of confidence. Just one game but if he continues playing like that he could end up being a really good QB. Darnold wasn't impressive but he is still just a rookie with time to improve

I'll have to take your word for it.
Rosen? @TheDayMan is spot on. Here he left this game against Washington with a "finger" injury. Grabbed his wrist on the sideline quit on his team again. When the media questioned his toughness. His finger injury was upgraded to a concussion.

Funny thing people wanted to talk about Darnolds 13 picks last year.Playing for a bad SC team....Rosen threw 10 picks while playing less games because he's fragile....

I had Mayfield as the best of the batch.Definitely most NFL ready.

Or you could watch the year prior where he carried the team to a dominating win over the playoff Huskies or carried them into a Rose Bowl. It's not a coincidence that with Darnold $C was a top 15 team yet without him they are contender in the MWC. The USC teams he played on had 1/10 the talent Leinhart and Sanchez had (which are the only real $C busts)
Agree SC lit up ND that year too....SC was a bad team last year. Darnold carried them. And its showing big time this season

I have zero idea how he plays as I don't do college football.

But I've sort of seen the other first rounders play now and I'd like to see him too.
absolutely agree , hes better than allen i can say that

Yep, when the chronic finger pain excuse started to get questioned he all of the sudden had that pesky concussion that showed up every time UCLA started to get their ass kicked.

Interesting how Darnold looked pretty solid in that Lions game, where everything went right for the Jets, and folks were saying what a great pick he was.

The Lions bring out the best in players, except those players are usually on the other team.

I believe this is when his last finger concussion occurred

Still no clue why the Cards drafted a QB made out of glass. To back up a QB made of glass :noidea:

rosen got game

Until something doesn't go his way then he will magically have some kind of injury that will keep him out of games until he finds a team that he thinks he can play good against. He's the opposite of Mayfield, Baker wants to compete against any one, Rosen only wants to compete against people he knows he can beat.

Arnold plays for the Jets, there's not a superstar on that team and he played 3 whole games.......Give the kid some breathing room first......Lets see what happens once they get some weapons for him.....

hes got weapons

He's got some good ones......His accuracy has been horrible.....And I don't hold back criticism for any player, but jeezus,it's been auspicious beginning to the year for him.....
We got a couple of games here in a row where the defenses are not the greatest.......It could be what he needs to get out of that funk he is in.....
