Yeah... Unfortunately, USC has some of the most fickle football fans in the country.

But then again, the state of Cali has some of the most fickle residents in the nation.

So I guess that's not so surprising after all. :noidea:

GAWD... I'm hoping we can just get rid of that "Friday Night Game" jinx we've been having. Especially against WashSt.

There's no way I'm putting cheddar on this game. I don't think WSU is that good, but USC has been worse than not good.

Will be watching and I guess pulling for USC (puked a little saying that).

What would a loss here do to USC? Is this way too early to be a must win?

A loss would have Hot Seat Helton going to sun hot on the fired by Nov meter. Would be an gift to Husky recruiting as well. As were looking to land Kyle Ford and Bru McCoy. Maybe a few we were
also targetting, but current USC commits would reopen as well.

If Helton is fired, the demands by the USC egomaniac boosters to bring in a NFL "blue-blood" level hire because that appears to be the only ones worthy of USCs greatness for simply existing, etc. Etc..... would mean a total house cleaning with the staff occurs.

Oh I know there is upside to a USC loss for UW as well. Just rather eliminate WSU from the conference race as soon as possible. Hard to want any team from the North to win conference games until yours is a lock to win the division.

I’m more worried about WSU playing to spoil our year than playing for their own success.

Thing I love about this weekend is its going to be the true measuring stick for how good or how bad these PAC12 teams are this year. Its a reality weekend for this conference.

Especially for the Ducks who've played 3 glorified scrimages and are nut grabbing over the stats. While Stanford players will have to deal with the noise, its not Shaws first rodeo with loud environments so the offense will of practiced this week for it heavily.

But I always feel for the poor visitor fans who have to spend a weekend in Eugene and deal with all the loud mouth drunks and tweakers in and out the stadium. Always best to plan it so the only time you spend in that town is arriving for the game and leave as soon as the game is over. Dont park your car with any flags or stickers of your team out. The methheads will vandalize it as soon as you walk away to head into the game.

Stay to groups and ignore all the assholery when they try to initiate a fight.

Dont bring any kids under the age of 16 to games there either. Better they're not exposed to that 3rd world neanderthal culture. Stay as far away from the student sections as possible. The aisles are filled with puke and piss.

Leave the kids at home.

Kiffen isnt blue blood enough. They want another Pete Carroll. He set the bar soo ridiculously high, its haunted them since hes left. Few will ever be able to replicate that, even with USCs built in recruiting advantage. Its gonna be amusing to see them continue to hire and fire on the quest to try to replicate the Carroll era.

Same here. WSU winning would be hilarious as the USC booster base would have an atomic meltdown, but its really hard to root for the Cougs as well.....

its always which way benefits the Ducks more? (obviously huskies for you) divisional opponent loss to south works better.

My boy is playing same time tonight, 7:00 P.M. kick off. TBH he Probably won't see much field time tonight but he had a couple of sacks in the JV game yesterday, with one of them forcing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Sorry, I like SC but my boys team always comes first.

you do realize UW fans see something different than others right?
Tennessee and Michigan State fans both were saying how great Oregon, Eugene and the fans were.

when i played both JV and Varsity they did like a certain amount of quarters played per week. i dont remember if we had 5 or 6 so if we played the whole JV game we were limited availability in Varsity.

Its similar here now. He's a bit undersized for the D'Line, but has better quickness so for varcity games he goes in usually on obvious passing downs. I don't actually know the league rules but I don't think he's seen more than 5 plays in any week that he's played JV.

I do like the "new" rule, way back when I played if we suited up for JV we couldn't suit up for varcity, had to wear street clothes to be on the side line. This is better even if you only get a couple of reps.
