Always root for the Browns for obvious reasons, their fans deserve it. I was not a Mayfield guy, thought they pulled another Browns move. But it looks like I was wrong here and I'm fine with that.

Yep - always funny how people rate QBs coming out of college. Honestly outside of the people actually making the picks who has a clue (& they are also wrong quite often). People base things on their college career which bears no resemblance to the NFL game or players that they like (which is useless). Others rely on so called experts in the media & they often are overhyped experts & are as wrong as anyone else.

Who knows how well Mayfield will do moving fwd, but that was certainly a good start.

If I were Browns fan I would be acting like it was the Super Bowl as well. They have been out in the wilderness for a VERY long time. Mayfield passed his first test with flying colors.

I was very high on Mayfield. The analytics were ALL screaming for Mayfield. When you read an article like this one...

Baker Mayfield Should Be the Top Pick in the 2018 Draft

you really started to wonder how anyone thought anyone OTHER than Mayfield should be the first choice.

Actually after spotting the Jets 14 points, they won the rookie QB bowl

Again people jumping gun let's revisit this near end of season.

Debbie downer much. 635 days since they won a game and they bring in the kid and he rallys them from 14 down to get the win. Let em scream and be happy about it. No one said he's better than Brady

Something tells me that when we get to the end of the season this game will still be their first W in almost two years.

Sounds like a salty Raider fan? Regardless of whether or not Oakland wins this week they'll still be looking up to Cleveland's impressive start.

They'll have their chance to remedy that next week. Wonder if Coach Chucky can find a pass rush by then?

Maybe one more next week (Raiders), but their schedule is pretty solid after that. The teams that looked easy before the season (Bucs, Bengals) have started strong, making that schedule pretty tough. They will definitely need to take things up a few more notches.

Yeah it's best that they play him as much as possible if there are mistakes to be made let him get those corrected.

can't see it going any other way at this point.

Well... These are the Browns we're talking about. But yes, I highly doubt it would change and keep Taylor as the starter

Good to see you SoCal. It really is a crap shoot, even the scouts can't figure out QBs obviously. I liked Mayfield in college, who didn't? Thought he was a great story. But I just didn't see him as the first guy to come out of the arena league conference to actually be a good NFL QB. The preseason sure gave us a good indication but last night was more verification. I hope he's the real deal.

Raiders should see if they can borrow the 21 the A's just put up.
Sounds like a dipshit
