Fair enough...are black people biased?

Sure they are in some cases.

Do black people stay separate today by choice?

When you have no real power, you have no real choice. And as much as you will say it doesnt matter, raw numbers equals power. Because at the end of the day, even when you look at a situation and say.. well sure thats wrong, you also have a habit of balancing that logic against the concept of.. who will it affect negatively. And as we see by votes, majority generally tends to rule. Which is why it seems to be ever so important to some to maintain that majority.

But to put another spin on this, if I were to send you (by force) to say Iraq, and told you that in order to fit in you need to abandon your CULTURE and adopt theirs... how well do you think you would adapt?? How well do you think your children's children would take it to know, any culture you had as a people was forcibly stripped from you. And the new culture you developed was considered inferior by those in the majority??

Every person on the face of the Earth has bias...not some cases.

So, black people do not have the power to move? They don’t have the power to go to areas with better schools? The beauty of a republic, your rights cannot be voted out.

So now you are comparing the world of today to slavery again? Let me ask this...what culture were you forced to abandon? If there are shortcomings in the culture, wouldn’t you want to change the shortcomings? You do realize the “black culture” of today is nothing like the past?

Dude.. you are much to hung up on me getting over slavery, than actually seeing as to how Slavery directly contributed to what you see as an inferior culture of todays blacks. Fact is, I never said you would be enslaved, just forcibly moved and told to fit in you needed to adopt the culture of your new home.

Point two, until the last what 20-30 years black people did not have the resources to move. And even when they did, in far too many cases they were made to feel unwelcome when they moved into places of better culture.

Point three... when Blacks were brought here originally, they were in fact forced to abandon not only their native cultures, but their native language.. or are you going to deny that this was common practice. So for 200+ years, our culture was in fact that of being a slave. Once we were "freed" our culture was that of second class humans. Even when we were granted the status of full citizens, in far too many places we are still considered second class citizens. So that CULTURE you find so inferior, was a direct result of your culture destroying that of my ancestors and then abandoning us to our own devices when we had lost our usefulness. SO as I and others have tried to point out to you, that inferior black culture of today, is a direct result of what your culture did over the past 200+ years.

No...but I knew what you were referring. If you force me off my land, force me into another, and then force me to abandon my culture...that is slavery.

Part of freedom is earning your own resources. What prevents them from moving today? Do people actually need to go where the culture is better to improve their own?

Language perhaps. Culture not as much. The culture I am referring to is a culture that promotes treating women poorly, drugs, absentee fathers, crime and lawlessness, and free thinking makes you an Uncle Tom.

NO.. slavery would be all that, then forcing you to work for me under penalty of death.

They are moving today. But this does not discount the fact that for the better part of this country's existence they were denied the resources to move. And you say improve their culture... I dont think its the culture, its the behavior of some which you want to attribute to all who come from that culture. But you get majorly pissed if I even hint that because the Richard Spencers of the world come from your culture, you are anything like him despite you flip some of the same talking points he does verbatim.

Again dude, the CULTURE in the black community has developed because we were STRIPPED of any culture we had as a race and told to adopt yours.

Let me ask you an honest question.. where were your ancestors from in Europe. Can you answer this question? You know, german, french, polish, Italian?? Because the reality in aside from my German great grandfather.. on the black side the best i got is some where in Africa. So that is what i mean by stripped of our culture. And once we were no longer property, my ancestors were left to fail, and in most cases again until the last 20-30 years intentionally held back.

Please, I beg of you, do not talk about culture. History tells a very different story about the culture that some now claim as their own. Here's a hint....it's stolen!!

All BS aside, the word culture has become the latest dog whistle. See its not socially acceptable to say a particular race is inferior. But its perfectly ok to say.. that culture is inferior.

I know, but sometimes it's a lot more fun taking them into deep water and watching them try to swim faster than the soul snatching vortex that's about to engulf them.:D

Sorry @dad in the current set-up, there are three types that belong. Maybe folks will fess up and tell us in which group they belong.

1. Dog whistle blowers...these are the manipulators, they have their own cabal and generally belong to the ownership group.

2. Those who can hear the whistlers...this group consists of the middle of the pack kinda folks. They can not only hear the whistles but are in tune with their basic fears against competing on a level playing field. They are easily defeated in intellectual conversations because they get their "talking points" from the ownership group and trust them to protect them from historical facts, current realities and suggestions of disrupting the status quo.

3. Finally, there are the ones who aren't either of the other two. Generally ignorant and make claims of ONLY relying on their common sense instead of "stupid ole book learnings." They are the lemmings of the group, although given their numbers, are the loudest at gatherings and are quickest to resort to violence as the preferred tool against those who dare challenge the other two. Strange how no two are exactly alike, yet they are all cut from the same cloth,

All three parts work in unison to assure that in America, we are culturally conditioned to believe that "whites" are superior, "Blacks" are inferior and the manifestation of that cultural conditioning is that "Black" people are undervalued, underestimated and marginalized.

BTW: When talking about differences in culture, home life and sech, that is an example of manifest cultural conditioning.

Here’s the thing. When I put the words “black culture” down, I am referring to a very specific subset of the population. I am referring to those black people who like to use the word “blackness” as if their was a specific way for blacks to act. I am referring to those who revel in the words of gangsta’ rappers and treat women like shit, praise the drug culture, love the gang life, and believe this doesn’t influence society. I am referring to those who get four and five women pregnant and don’t take care of their children. This is not the entire black community, but it is a portion of the black community I believe to be increasing slowly over time.

I think we can all agree that not valuing education is bad, the gang life is bad, crime is bad, and treating women poorly is bad. Culture is basically a learned behavior. It is like the movie idiocracy, where the worse examples of mankind reproduce while the responsible put it off...this is happening to white people as well.

I have been told I am French (I hate the French) and German...I claim to be American. I know what I am...I don’t care what my ancestors were. I believe everybody should be left to fail if the choices they make cause it. That being said, I agree blacks were held back in the past by society as a whole...my time frame would be about 60 years ago with the dwindling down of white racism slowly from that point. I believe racism from whites was at an all time low until one year into Obama’s presidency when he started calling cops racist, starting with the “beer summit.” Since then, both sides have become more racist instead of biased.

Hey, Wait...don't jump in the water yet. It's dangerous for you to do so right now. I'm offering this as a friend who believes that you have been honest about what you "believe" in with your postings. Benefit of doubt, let's just say that you wrote this in haste or because you were not really considering how this type of honesty put you at an indefensible position. Re-read Your post man.

all i can say is 7 out of ten blacks come from homes without both parents in the home or involved . samne with virtually any race

stable homes are essential for good outcomes . now you can pull out the 30% and say fuck it , it dont matter

Let's tell the rest of the story here @dad.

According to every survey that you can find more and more people are living together without entertaining the idea of marriage. This means that there might be truth in answering a survey truthfully about your marriage status, it doesn't mean that there's one person heading the household. This would also account for more "single" mothers giving birth (births out of wedlock for some). Here's one report on the subject.

45 Statistics On Cohabitation Before Marriage ...
https://brandongaille.com/43-statistics-on-cohabitation-before...

...and then there's this: (These number have increased 500% since this report)

Racial-Ethnic and Gender Differences in Cohabitation and ...
Using data on cohabitation from the 1995-1997 March Current Population Survey, the first three years in which the survey included "unmarried partner" as a relationship category, I measure the relationship between ...

AB-so-fuckin'-lutely, everyone is!!! Prejudiced too!!

Depends on who you ask... so-called "black" folks tried to help heal this country of it's slave guilt problem by trying to get laws changed that made it easier for folks to integrate. That failed in large part because of "white" tribalization and historic yet unfounded fear of "blacks." This continues thru to today.

On the other hand well earned mistrust of the benevolence of "white" folks also continues today. In fact I'll bet that every, yes I said every, so called "white" person who believes that they have great friends who are "black" don't know that person as well as his or her "black" friends. Nothing against so-called "white" folks, just an illustration of the deep, deep, deep, deep, mistrust that still lingers.

Yep...always whitey’s fault.

I've been raised to always take responsibility for shit that I've broken. In a larger sense, that applies to those who created, built and maintain this system of so-called "white" superiority and Racism. If you want to not "feel" that burden, I'm here man. Maybe together we can do something about making meaningful changes. Until then, if you want to point a finger at who's responsible, I suggest you answer a simple question. Get a mirror and ask does this skin give me ANY kind of advantage in this country and at what human cost did it get you here generationally?

In the meantime know this, every time you try to pull that racist reverse guilt BS. I'm going to just continue coming back at you with stuff that you'll be compelled to ignore or admit to its truth. I won't be nasty about it either, I still respect your willingness to engage and as a Washington family member. That won't ever change, but using low level terms like "whitey" won't cut it anymore. Tricks are for kids, time to play in the intellectual end of the spectrum.
