Wasn't something written about Banny learning his lesson and realizing he needed to get better at communication. I thought that was supposed to have been taken care of.

Maybe the intermittent flirtations with a 6-man rotation and now with the idea of an Opener has soured some pitchers.

Sometimes it seems off the field issues are magnified when on the field play is no good.

Sounds like there is some discontent in the clubhouse. Lack of communication and whatnot.

This is the first I've heard of Banny's job being on the line, so I have to think ultimately he sticks around. But these things can snowball.

Exactly. No one likes losing, and a lot of that does not fall on Banny.

Banister made his mistakes but who would have done better given the same conditions. Not making a decision yet but keeping him on or not, same results 2019 unless we spend big money on FA's and I doubt that happens. Looks like we wait and see once more.

He was given a poor team and poor teams often develop poor attitudes much easier than good teams do.

It would seem Banny was mandated to better his communication with the young Rangers which we have no indication that he failed with this. All seems well on that end. There are postives with the position players as a whole. Not so much with pitching but yes he was not given much minus Minor. Injuries hurt. Robinson Rua, DDJ, even Tocci and overuse IMO not good.

When we brought Don W, as bench coach a thought was he could be Banny predecessor. Trying to ink of reasons behind recent articles, but nothing solid has been given so how can we really take it as legitimate without evidence

If his job is in jeopardy, it will be the FO making decision not sport writers. Sounds like more than a rumor to me. Be a mistake for writers to put these rumors out without backup.

Not sure at this point why it sounds like more then a rumor unless FO is leaking info which is a possibility but it seems they play everything close to the vest. If Banny is our without a long term predecessor it would seem JD made he working hiring decision.

But to me it is all speculation at this point maybe even click bait.

I think the reporters are relying on what they consider reliable soirces.

So then it follows that someone in the FO is leaking info.

He is under contract next year so to eat that must be quite a dissapointment

Seems like most of the time when a manager is fired they have a year or so left on their contracts.

I sure hope they find the right guy. Firing and/or keeping managers is definitely Daniels' weakness.
