The most successful HC and by far the most talented QB this franchise has ever had.

And people want heads.

I mean obviously they can both be replaced with better right? I mean they've had that type of success in finding new talent before haven't they? :L

It's pure insanity.

Agreed. Thank God for Paul Allen. He is not one of those micro-managing owners but has trust (within limits) of his front office. If you want an official shit show, please look up Mark Davis, Jerry Jones, the entire frick'n Ford family.

It is still way too early to throw Schottenheimer out though. It takes time to rebuild an offensive identity.
Yep, it's 2 lousy games into the new setup with the new coaches, and without our best WR. On the road and vs maybe the 2 best pass rushers in the league. Both home openers as well for Denver & Chicago, and we lost by a total of 10 points and held a 4th qtr lead in Denver.

Emotion and lack of perspective gets the best of us sometimes.

So was Hugh Millen, and while Holmgren won't question play calling, he kind of did so in the questions he had.

Yeah. Way way too early to really slam Schotty. And we really don't know how much is Pete and Russ is influencing him either.

My son said to m the other day, that Pete Caroll's teams don't get blown out. I think we have been creamed twice since he got here.

The Rams game last year and can't remember the other one.

well to be honest Russell and the Seahawks put up a lot of points in the 4th quarter making blow outs look better.

as for blow outs 42-7 loss to the Rams last year, 38-10 against greenbay in 2016, 3 in 2011 ( no Wilson ), 9 in 2010.

They lost something like 2 games by more than one score from 2012-2015, although yeah the playoff loss to Carolina in 2015 was an example of a garbage time comeback.

This thread cracks me up... This was started when the Hawks started out 0-2... Fact: He's not leaving... Not until 2021 that is unless health plays a factor in forcing him to do so before his contract expires...

I would say that we would learn from threads like this, but I know we will not. Too many others just like it.

For us elders out there, it's called wisdom, patience and living through the history of the NFL...

yeah you can tell who the people are to just ignore the reaction. Two on the road to open the season was Bullshit then add in 2 home openers for those teams and it makes it so hard to win those games. I was pissed with the scheduling to start the season on how unfair it was to the Hawks.

Yeah it sucked but on the flip side it gave us 4 of 5 at home to end the year. Outside of the SF game, Seattle hasn't left the west coast in over a month which could be key on how well rested they should be going into the Dallas game.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I can't ever see Pete being fired involuntarily. It would take a few really poor seasons in a row at a minimum, and I'm sure he'd call it quits before then anyways.

The only exception would be some kind of controversy/off the field situation. In terms of play, he's a Seahawk until he decides to hang 'em up.

I thought the same thing but now that Paul Allen has passed I could also see PC and the new owner not getting alone. I still think PC will be here till he wants to quit and I don't think Allen sister will cause any issues but whoever buys the team might clash with PC. Then PC is like you know what I done. At this point, no one can know until we find out who the new owner is going to be.:noidea:

Yeah, good point about the ownership situation. I'm operating under the assumption that JA will be operating with the same involvement and influence as Paul, which was essentially staying out of the way on football-related manners.

He met with Paul's sister and seemed pumped she's keeping the team and had nothing but good things to say about her.

He wasn't a micro manager a la Jerry Jones, but he did kind of meddle to oust Jim Mora and get Pete Carroll in here. I mean it was a shrewd move, so no complaints.
