My initial thought this morning was JM to slot and Nelly to outside #2. Nelly played mostly on the outside last week....and was not horrid.

But now I am wondering if Doug will mix this up some this week....it would be like him to do it and I think Groh would be behind it. Would it work is not a question I am venturing into at this point.

I was hoping he would stick around in NE.

He's a good guy who works hard, no doubt. He just isn't that talented though. His main attributes are size and work ethic.

Maybe as a 3rd option at WR and without the pressure of him having to be the main guy (like his last stint with the Eagles) .... he can settle in with a role and not hurt us with the drops.

That’s a good point as well. He did have a lot asked of him in 2016. That really helps once Alshon is back....which looks like it won’t be this week.

Going to be thin at RB too as it looks like Ajayi and Sproles might certainly miss this game.

Aggie fixed his stone hands issue ... so hopefully JM has fixed his dilemma

agholor never had hands issues..... he had great hands.... his issues were mental.

J. Matthews, just isn't as talented. But he has great chemistry with Wentz and they were the closest of friends. I think Matthews will really get a boost from the team-first mentality here, and will be accepted stronger than he was anywhere else he went. I just hope his confidence grows fast.

Agholor scares me on the outside a tad... HOWEVER, he was the fastest WR on the team last year... beating out the supposed burner in smith we had. Maybe they try to use agholor like Djax, and let him rip. Only got to hit him 1 or 2 times to make defenses respect that.... and that will make things a lot easier on Matthews and Goedert.
