I went with FSU. ~$21 million buyout on his contract. Lots of talent wasted. I mean, they were national champs not that long ago and now this???

Too early to call FSU and USC dumpster fires. They are desirable locations and get good recruits.

Kind of the same for UCLA. They have a high profile new coach and play in SoCal.

Zona doesn't really have the pedigree of these other schools (except maybe Pig suey) and they have a lot of hot chicks on campus.

Nebraska isn't a dumpster fire. They get crazy B1G money, have a crazy loyal fan base and the best facilities in CFB.

I think those things only amplify the perception, not the reality. If you consider your three categories, I feel we're only really lacking in one area- current roster. I feel confident in Frost and his staff, and I feel confident that they can get Top 25 recruiting classes most if not every year moving forward. Add in people/money support and great facilities- I see a promising future. Not sure what the ceiling will be, but I feel positive moving forward.

Now, that is my reasonable pragmatic analysis. My emotional reaction to this season/era so far is more like....

Biggest dumpster fire is definitely Florida St. because they've fallen so far, so fast; they hired a pretty good, but less than outstanding coach that they thought could turn things around in a hurry; and they can't seem to capitalize on the talent they have at hand.

And, while they are down, their rivals will be able to take advantage by grabbing more in-state recruits.
