Literally making the Steelers FO argument for them. Wanted more than we wanted to pay. Went off and signed a huge deal with Miami, (5-year 60 million).

Underperformed his contract in Miami, traded with a 7th round pick to the Vikings 2 years later for a 5th round pick..

Vikings release him 1 year later.

AND: Antonio Brown took that same damn contract that Mike Wallace refused, and became a superstar under it.

LMAO... Thanks for proving our point Mike. Don't overpay for players that aren't worth it. :thumb:

To be honest, I think Wallace's point is actually a good one.... In this league, there is someone always willing to pay. And teams are always willing to cut guys that aren't living up to a contract or can no longer play due to injury or ineffectiveness. So, being selfish does pay off.... I mean, look at Wallace.... He's been paid.

But yes, Wallace also proves the Steelers point.... Just because one team overpays doesn't mean all teams need to do it. Generally the teams that overpay in FA are the teams you find on the bottom of the standings.

I hope not. But honestly with how shitty this situation has gotten I wouldn't be mad. Just ready for it to be over.

If we trade him, it's gonna be worth it for it. Don't just trade him to get rid of him. If a 1st isn't offered don't even listen to it. Hang the phone up.
