I think by the time the year has run its course Beatty will still be gone and Long will hire "his guy". These 2 games may well be it for him as far as wins this year and that's prob not gonna be near enough as far as 2-3 year total. It was a sweet win for them though, they beat the CRAP outta RU, surprised me.

I agree. It’s been some nice pub for Jayhawk nation the past two weeks. Helmet stickers handed out Saturday night for the big win over RU!!

that statement looks to be pretty good now though......may not be true once the hatter brings his game to town though. Kansas football has sucked since Magino????? was gone.

Beatty never had a chance with a new AD coming to town. IMO, Beatty had KU playing their best football since we joined the conference. They simply don't have the depth of talent throughout their roster they need to compete better.

Maybe Les will do more. Has he hired a single coach yet? I honestly don't know.

Les is likely a bridge from their present state to a future one for KU. I think he will coach his boys up. I don't know how quickly he can turn it around. I don't know what their ceiling will be.

Gonna be a new coach at KSU now too.

I agree that Miles is likely just a bridge to the next guy, he is 65 and who knows how long he will want to coach. I am glad Snyder has decided to pack it in, hate when the old legends hang around and ruin their legacy
