High ankle sprains are tougher to comeback from than lower ones. Plus, Talib is getting up there in age and recovery time for injuries increases a bit with age.

I guess they are hoping surgery finds the injury to the Superficial Deltoid Tibionavicular Ligament Fiber, and not the Deep Deltoid Tibionavicular Ligament Fiber.

At least that's what I could make of the McVay Presser.

Funny exchange anyhow in that interview. Rarely do we see McVay joke around.
