that would be correct. other than stan asking at the end if paige was playing him, i didn't see a reason for him to be mentioned, so figured it was about henry. tried to catch up on the last two pages to see thoughts on the finale.

I was fully expecting there to be a scene of him turning in his badge at the end.

You could see his entire reality crumbling around him in the garage scene. He realized his best friends were Russian spies. He realized he was a bad FBI agent. He began to doubt his wife. His whole life just went up in smoke and he could do nothing but watch it happen.

what do you think Stan said to Henry after hockey practice? Do you think he straight up told him "your parents were spies and they left and you will never see them again" or was it more "they ded"?

I was half expecting them to be pulling away from the station and Paige to be in cuffs, but I don't think the law was looking for her. That would have been wild. But her making the decision on her own to stay, after Phillip had said to Elizabeth he was thinking of doing it, was pretty shocking. She can keep an eye on Henry...but does she stay in DC or go off on some other adventure. Her apartment is burned and so is her house...so without any contacts, where does she turn? Stays at Martindale's apartment?

by the way I just got around to watching the finale last night, so thus the questions.

there are lots of ways to look at that last scene... But she didn't seem very happy even with it being a dream of what could have been... I think to an extent, she loved her family more than she thought she did...

It has been long enough that I don’t remember specifically, but I think I took it at relative face value at the time that he told him the truth.

IIRC, Henry’s face pretty much showed that that was what he was hearing.

Yes, I do. I thought they were a little depressed to be back. As well as being happy to be back home.

The comments about how much has changed in Russia showed them the home they remembered is not the home that they will have from now on.

Not sure if they would be a traditional married couple. But they will certainly be friends with benefits.

I would think his face would be more "what the hell are you talking about?!" that what I saw.

To me it looked like Stan had told them they were dead or something.

Also, I like that they left the gf story up in the air.

The former.

I have heard a few people (not here) say that they would like to have heard some of that conversation in the show. I don't know if it's the reason they didn't do it but I think that would be asking too much of Keidrich Sellati. I don't think he's a terrible actor as far as kids go but he is still a kid, and that's a tough scene to really nail.

It was a crossover with Friday Night Lights, that's what happened to Boobie Miles after he blew his knee out :wink:

My thoughts

They are together as they love each other, the second wedding, a scene where they professed it.

She was more "brainwashed" and would take the job all the way to conclusion no matter what and she didn't question. He did question and eventually got out. She never would if not for him.

Russell deserved to win it at least once. But it's a tough category. Same with the Best Drama category. There's just a wealth of great TV currently.

Keri had tough competition in her category but I didn't even think that actual Game of Thrones fans liked the latest season that much. Am I wrong about that?

I don't know. I don't watch it. My wife and kids all do. I've seen several episode out of sequence, but I don't have the time to invest to catch up and though it's extremely well done, it isn't really my thing. It may be in that place like Modern Family and other past winners, where they just keep giving it the award well past its prime.
