Thanks Jeff.

We could be sitting with Donovan Mitchell and Michael Porter Jr.

Instead, we have Kennard who struggled to get playing time his rookie year and One of the worst contracts in the NBA with Griffin.

One can only hope that Casey can turn this ship around. Seems like we are mired in mediocrity.

Blake is better than Porter and many don't think Porter will have a long career. I'll take both our 2nd rd guys over Porter any day.

Also, how is 20 minutes a game a struggle to get playing time?

Blake is better than Porter now. We will see in another year or two. Blake is already at the end of his prime. Those days of explosive, high flying dunks are over. You have a guy who is a 18-20 point a game scorer and decent rebounder. Those are complimentary pieces, not max contract guys.

Even if Porter would of flat out busted cause of injury. At least it's only a rookie contract vs a max contract.

20 minutes a game in a back court missing it's best player most of the year and a bunch of scrub journeymen. That vs the guy who got picked right behind him who will be a perennial all star and franchise player. That dude is a poor man's Manu Ginobili.

You never let coaches also do personnel decisions. Because if things start going bad and they get on the hot seat. Then make desperate decisions such as that trade. There is a long history in all sports of that being a complete disaster.

Kennard is going to play close to 30 minutes a game this season, and was a consistent player as a rookie. Even when we were a top four team in the East Kennard was getting steady minutes. He was a very good option for us.

The problem with Griffin is the injuries. Porter has even more injury concerns than Griffin. If you don't like Griffin because of injuries why would you want to draft Porter?
