@Chewbaccer dude, A&M still at #15? They just lost back to back weeks to a 4-6 and 5-5 team. I felt like I was doing something wrong putting them at #25...
They were 8th just last week and I have trouble dropping teams more than 7-8 spots or moving them up that much after 1 game this late in the season, plus Knight was out and Ole Miss is a better team than their record indicates.
Knight is gone for the year, not just that game so that is part of assessing A&M right now. Ole Miss didn't have Kelly either. I don't see your point. They aren't a top 15 team right now. Even their best win took a hit this weekend.
They lose again and they drop again.
I'm not dropping a team from 8th to below 20th at this point in the season, and I'm not moving a team up from 25th to the top 15 after 1 game at this point in the season. Sorry, but I'm not changing my poll.
Actually, I'm hopeful we do.somebody is afraid of playing tOSU........
Well you neglected to rank OU.Actually, I'm hopeful we do.
The reason my top 5 is the way it is is this...
Had the BCS still been around, all of those teams drop 4-5 spots minimum based on the competition.
However, Clemson has great SOS, Louisville has solid SOS, Michigan has solid SOS, and Ohio State has solid SOS --- out of conference wise. This is why I ranked them this way. Also how each team lost and where plays a factor. Michigan lost on the very last play. Clemson lost on the next to last play. Louisville couldn't quite make a 1st down. However, Penn State came back and beat Ohio State, and OSU still had time to try and score at the end, but were stiffed by Penn State's defense.
I didn't call it the "fuck it" ranking for nothing. You could put them every whichaway and it wouldn't matter.
Washington got beat by double digits at home.
San Diego State lost their only game on the road vs South Alabama. That's a long ass trip for a MWC school. Plus, South Alabama actually did great OOC.
Boise lost on a safety late in the game.
Western Michigan is undefeated.
Troy's only loss is Clemson, and a close one at that.
Y'alls best win is Baylor, who obviously ain't shit right now. And y'all got shitstomped at home by OSU, and handled by 2 loss Houston. Both losses are to quality teams, but neither is a quality loss. Had you lost by last second FG or last minute TD, yeah, let's talk OU. But y'all got dominated up front in both games, so obviously not as good as either team. Also, that defense has been suspect all season. Big12 or not, I could accept giving up 35+ points once maybe twice. But that defense is not top 25 worthy. And again, best win is Baylor. Y'all can prove me wrong in the next two weeks against the other 2 best teams in the Big12. For now, the jury's out.Well you neglected to rank OU.
That's why my top 25 is called the "fuck you" ranking.
You better hope OU doesn't sneak in Cecil.Y'alls best win is Baylor, who obviously ain't shit right now. And y'all got shitstomped at home by OSU, and handled by 2 loss Houston.
