I don't know about that, but I can easily see another season of the Skins being 0fer against teams with winning records. And as of right now. Its hard to say the Skins have improved in any aspect of the game or team.

no its authentic sewn numbers and name

That's why, as a general rule, I will only buy a QB's jersey after his third year in the leauge...at the soonest.

I would rock the mcconaughey burgundy suit before wearing another mans name on my back

we almost need to make a thread for people after games who are pissed off and want to make random angry threads about random bullshit ... like "this team is garbage & will have a top 5 pick next year"

call it the pissed off fan thread, lol

Yeah, aside from wearing a baseball cap that signifies my allegiance to a team. I'm not a huge fan of wearing sports gear.

I've gone beyond the pissed off thread off thread fan. Now if they start a "I'm in love with a bitch (the bitch being the Redskins) I can't stand." thread. I could move in there and make that home.

Way too soon to call it a season after just one game. Passing game looks good despite a mediocre performance by Cousins. They can still bounce back and win 8/10 games but the running game and the front seven are major concerns.

Last night was why I will always believe if you have an average QB you have little chamce. The biggest difference in that game was the play of the 2 QBs. Now Kirk was below average, failing to make plays on a night when Ben was doing it all game long.. But when you have a middle of the road guy this is the type of performance you should expect on a regular basis and it absolutely kills a team.

It doesn't seem to matter what year it is or who is the coach or players. The Redskins always seem to commit false starts or holds, usually at the worst possible time. Yet another listless, embarrassing performance on Monday Night. And the sad part is everyone I spoke with outside of this board expected it all week, I know I did.

As I was saying....

I know it shouldn't matter, totally different player and coaches, but it can't be overlooked that we always lay an egg on prime time night games. Always. And until that changes I have no reason to believe that will change.

I think this one gets away from us early, Ben and Williams have big games, and we are never in it. 31-17 Steelers.

I think if you look at the prediction thread, most on here expected it also.

Lets face it, we still have a ways to go. We played a better team last night. The had more talent and the had better coaching. We still have too many glaring holes. Specifically, if we can't run the ball and we can't stop the run, we will never be a championship team. As for the QB, history dictates that there have been champions that had average QBs, hell, we've had them here. KC is no Big Ben. But if we expect KC to carry us with his arm to the SB without the support of a running game, it will never happen. An average QB needs to have support to take the heat off.

Pittsburgh showed the rest of the NFL how to beat us. Pound it up the middle against our weak DL and set up the play action over the top once we put 7 and 8 in the box. This could be a long season if we don't figure out how to stop the run. How many think Joe Barry can figure it out?

Cousins was off target all night long. Despite the numbers he puts up he has below average accuracy and yesterday was clearly a bad day. But I'm sure he can look better throwing the football.

But yesterday's game, shows you why he will never be elite : lack of pocket awareness. Jon Gruden pointed it several times and that's what make the difference between good and great QBs. See Big Ben yesterday buying time to make things happen or the TD pass from Rodgers to Davante Adams.

Actually most everyone had a 3-4 point loss, a few had a Skins win. Not me, I saw a blowout for the exact reasons you posted. If you can't run, can't stop the run and as MSkins said you have a QB who simply failed to make plays, well you kind of suck.

Had a 2nd TV on watching my other team play and for most of the night the Red Sox were outscoring the Redskins. Also couldn't help but notice what a difference maker Leanard Williams was on Sunday, 7 QB hits, 2.5 sacks and wrecking havoc all game.

I think DeAngelo Williams with 26 carries/143 yards/5.5 ypc/2 TDs. Compared to 12 carries/55 yards/4.5 ypc/ 0 TDs for all Skins rushers combined might disagree with you. Not sure I would though.

KC had damn good opportunity to put 2 TDs on the board early and came up empty both times. Settling instead for FGs due mainly to his off target passes and poor decision making. And even though I knew it was already over at this point, but still had lingering hope. That if the Skins score a TD on this drive they still have a chance. His 1st INT, an unnecessarily forced pass that never should've been thrown where it was. Put the full on and immediate smash down on any and all lingering hope.

Yep, that makes it what? 15 losses in the last 16 Monday night games. it makes you wonder WTF the Monday night peeps keep putting the Skins on. Far as the penalties, 9 in all last night. Just another trademark character flaw this team can't seem to shake.

Redskins are most likely a 7-9 8-8 team. Not sure expectations should be higher, no difference makers added, both lines are mediocre or less again, and the NFCE is a little better overall. They could finish first or last.

I don't think too many of us were expecting more than 8-8. But this is the year we find out about our QB, and our coach, and what we saw was an overmatched QB and an undisciplined team who appears to be poorly coached.
