Trade market I think will be slow this offseason. Everyone tends to love their draft, specially in a start up league. Same thing happened in D1, the second off season had tons of trades happening.

Yeah, i like trading, however very much a seller market this early on. Not to worry, that will change soon enough.

yea, not to mention the players i wanted bad in the draft that i couldn't get, i compensated in my draft... so that player might not even fit my team anymore...

Looks like Monkey and me have a deal done. Sure was not easy.

I traded away Martivus Bryant for Alex Collins. I really wanted a cuff to Rawls. Collins has been getting good reviews in OTAs ( for what that is worth) and kind of concerned about Rawls injury progress thus far.

I expect some to feel that way about it. Not me though. MB is a high reward/ high risk player, he's already has a one year suspension, next screw up could be permanent. I see Collins as good insurance for Rawls and also at least a bye week fill in worthy.

No surprise to me that you think I got taken, your love for WRs is obvious and you don't value RBs at all.

I'm with ya Harold. MartyB may be a WR1 next season. .he could never play again, Josh Gordon sure hasn't yet. Might as well get something before he's completely worthless, in case that were to happen.

I definitely prefer mb in that trade in a vacuum but I think you had good reasoning for doing what you did. And who knows maybe mb never plays again.

Like I said earlier, it's a sellers market right now and I was the one looking to buy. Collins has more value for my team as a cuff( hopefully) then for other teams. Me and Monkey tried lots of different trade ideas, this was the one we finally settled on.

I like the trade... I don't think collins is anything special, but he is more meaningful for your team than bryant is... especially if coates and/or wheaton do well this season...

There currently is on going debate about WRs. Some love them, because they seem safer, others view WRs as dime a dozen because all the influx of WRs drafted yearly in the pass happy NFL league.

Bryant was a top 40 dynasty player before the suspension. You traded him for a RB going 3rd round in rookie drafts. One who is 3rd string if he's lucky. Has nothing to do with WR's or RB's. But it's funny that you think that about me. :suds:
