Round 1- Chris Jones, DL, Mississippi State

Round 2- Devontae Booker, RB, Utah

What would your reaction be?

I'd like it... And then wonder who we didn't draft instead of Booker.

Nothing against Booker, but with $ we are paying CJ, I'd rather see OL, TE, LB or S in this area.

Anyone notice something funny about this thread? ;)

I love Booker, so I would be thrilled with him and Jones.

I am probably in the minority here but I wouldn't feel bad about taking a RB early as long as it was one I loved and that would be well.... Booker... If not the RB class is gonna be great next year... If we improve on our OL which I feel we have (a bit at least) and CJ can stay healthy we would probably be ok at RB, but CJ's durability is a concern, we don't have to go RB early (Unless it is Booker of course) but we need something behind Anderson that can take some carries away... Someone like a Jonathan Williams, Kelvin Taylor or Wendell Smallwood, Peyton Barber a bit later on.

I'm thinking the Broncos sing Hillman and stay pat as far has a high resource used on a RB. Thompson and Bibbs have practiced in this offense for a year - had top strength and conditioning attention - and low mileage.

That being said - I like Booker and I like this draft - mainly because I'm Jonesing for Jones - though.

Broncos will draft Kenyon Drake from Ala and he will end up having the best yr of any back picked ahead of him. You can " Booker " that, I mean book that. :)

I'm quickly becoming a Jonathan Williams fan and would just much rather use a 4th or 5th round pick on him and see what he can do. I like Booker but just not a fan of the 2nd round RB when we have a starter at the position and quality RB's can be found throughout the draft.

Obviously Chris Jones in the 1st is like the 1 pick I think every one of us would agree would be a great pick for the team!

I would be shocked. I don't think there's any way we go RB before the 4th... and that's probably a conservative guess. But, this is a "what if", so if I have to play along, I think I would like it. Jones is nice, but will probably go before our pick in the first. Booker is probably the most complete RB in this draft and I think the only reason he might fall to our pick in the 2nd would be his injury.

He also has fumbling issues. Not sure if its because of technique or his very small hands. Great fit for the ZBS. If he is there round 3, I jump. Idk about round 2 on rb.

Swap Booker with Alex Collins and this would be about as good as it gets for me

If Drake stays healthy he could be a very good NFL back. If we wait on RB like I think we do, he would be a nice fit for us and could be our KR from that start.

What do you think of Jordan Howard from Indiana ? Another 2nd RB near our pick?

I love Jordan Howard... He would be the next back I would want after Booker for our system well, he or Dixon is pretty close. I think bet RB's that suite us in this draft

1. Booker
2. Dixon
3. Howard
4. Alex Collins

I also think Wendell Smallwood at a value stand point would be a nice guy to come in and be our 3rd own back and KR. He has played WR and RB at WV. He'd put Hillman to shame.
