I'm not sold on Matt Jones and feel Redd suspension forces us to take a RB in day 2 compared to day 3 of draft. Anyone else think letting Morris walk was a mistake? I'm doing a NFL mock draft on Hoop and I'm skins GM. I hadn't planned on taking a RB and now feel I need to. I am debating what position to not take now since I'll be using a pick on a RB. I made a few trades and acquired some extra picks. Below is who I drafted so far. Still have picks in 5th, 6th and 2 in 7th.

Last time he was on a field he played only 4 games all season, rushed for 163 yards with a 2.6 average. I hear what you are saying, why not give it a shot? I just see it as the same reason SM didn't bring back Chris Cooley. GMSM is not in the business of chasing returns as they say in the investment world. Vernon Davis fits that description but he still has value as a blocking TE, a huge need on this team.
