Foles last season - for much of the season stunk; there is no way to deny that. What Foles is/was/seemed to be was a middle of the pack QB (at best); simply not possessing the skills to actually make teh Chip Kelly offense work (long term). Foles and Sanchez were interchangeable, and nobody on these boards ever considered Sanchez a long term option, or good enough to win a championship. Especially as our defense was not (and is not expected to be) the equivalent of the 85 bears, the Gang Green defense or that of the Bucs or Ravens of the early 2000's.

So yeah, seeing whether Bradford could do better was justified.

You guys vastly overrated your team this year. The OL may be the worst in football. CK thought you could just throw some substandard guards in the lineup and win. D Murray sees the writing on the wall. Eventually Bradford is going to get hurt. CK screwed up big time.

Chip is not another Spurrier. He won big his first 2 years, and is restructuring his roster. A work in progress. Spurrier did nothing his couple years in DC.

He won big his first two years? What did he win? After a 9-3 start last year the Eagles have been abysmal since then. As a fan I would begin to question if CK can motivate them to play for him.

There is talent on this team but a lethal combination of roster turnover, personnel short comings and injury have grounded the offense. Chip should and will be held accountable for his mistakes. He's learning some hard lessons, he'll be back next year and he will have a chance to change the narrative.

The biggest problem is the OL ... not only are the Guard replacements bad, but the remaining guys whom we thought we could count on have been subpar as well. We've seen that Bradford can sling it when given time ... but for the most part the OL has been one of the worst I've seen this season (and I watch quite a few games each week, not just the Eagles).

News Flash: This season is not over. Yet.

There was already attention and expectation with all of the player moves...The national media jumped all over the pre-season.

OL...the OL is not playing well, but personnel wise according to PFF...the Eagles have 1 elite OT, and Lance Johnson is supposed to be solid, and Kelce is a good C...so whatever is going on with the OL play I think should sort itself out over the next game or two.

Season...no, a long way from that, only a game back in the DIV. The loss to WAS ( 2 DIV losses) has kinda made the next 3 weeks critical terms of playoffs...the margin for error has been cut down considerably.

The problem with this team is coaching. While talent may be part of it I am not willing to concede it is biggest issue. The two guards that the Eagles cut are doingg jack shit where they are now.

Every breakdown I have seen this season all show the same thing. Players are completely missing an ignoring blocks. These guys are running past people that Stevie Wonder can see. Video analysis: Why the Eagles can't run

Take a look at the first vid. There are three lineman by the Tobin and Barbre and both these idiots went for the same person and let two run free. How does this happen? It a coaching failure.

Now you look at the second vid and it seems to indicate there is a problem with the blocking but I do not see it that way. There are 7 rushers and 5 blockers. I don't care who is on the offensive line. 5 cannot block 7. That was a bad example to use.

The third vid is also a bad example. They are trying to pin that on the o-line but it was 6 blocking 7 and Shady was the one that screwed up on that play. He ran towards the one person that was not blocked and his speed bailed him out.

The last two should not be on the article anyway because they are from last year and there should be plenty from this year to choose from. That first video tells the whole story. Teams are only sending 5 and that is really making things hard for Bradford and the receivers because teams can put 6 in coverage.

We know our team isn't very good this year but it took playing the Redskins to make Riley Cooper a relevant conversation. We are not a very good team right now and you barely beat us. Have fun with Atlanta this weekend.

Calk down fellas. My team sucks, this is not news. But we are talking about Chip and his offense, Not sure why the daggars started flying about the Redskins, started by the guy calling me "uppity" LOL, when the subject is the Philly offense.

Riley Cooper is not good yet he's one of this offense's main targets. Again the point is given this situation it's hard to tell if it's the system or bad personnel. The Skins crappy secondary has nothing to do with this point.

Actually it's a funny story, RA left KFFL suddenly at the beginning of summer. Boom, just gone. A few of us got to talking and we were sure the old fucker was dead.
