I was thinking more along the lines of an old pitcher who came up with the Giants but everyone hated so they got rid of him. Then proceeded to come back and do okay for a while.

I really believe that "closer" is just another job on this staff. The best relievers we had this year were Strick and Kontos, and neither of them even sniffed closing duty. But I would argue that their jobs were MORE important that KCYas.
