Jamie Dukes is a bloviating nitwit. I'd take Aaron Donald over Warren Sapp any day and twice on Sundays. Give me a break. Dukes thinks Donald is as close to Warren Sapp as anybody he can think of. Bullshit. Donald is way better than Sapp would ever hope to be. I'll let you all decide.

Check it out. The new Rams as they open camp. Holy Cow, Jeff Fisher has given birth. He has lost his belly and has really slimmed down. Pictures 29 and 30 are the new O-line. These dudes are railroad cars. Here's the link to whet your appetite.

I'm thinking a certain QB had something to do with all the drinking and thus the beer belly. Said QB is now gone and Fisher is no longer drinking! Hmmmm? seems like the likely reason?

You look at height & weight, then quickness off the LOS... He's a clone of Sapp. He might be quicker actually. Sapp had Derrick Brooks and John Lynch was no beeyatch either. That entire defense was strong and Sapp was the face/mouth of it.

Day 6 Camp Photos. Chris Long is up to his old self. Too funny. The new QB coach looks great as he is fitting right in and some believe is really making a difference along with Weinke in sharpening Foles, Mannion, Keenum, and Austin Davis. This should be fun to see how it all plays out.

After the first week of camp, the assessments of the rooks on the O-line has Brown at RG really coming along nicely. Unfortunately, Havenstein is struggling a bit adjusting to the speed of the game. By his own admission, Havenstein needs more work but overall, the coaching staff admit that Brown and Havenstein (barring injuries) will most likely be the opening day right side of the line. There are a number of articles out there, so I'll let all of you search those out.

The problem area remains with the center position. Rhaney has a slight edge but Barrett Jones is adjusting and may get the nod. The first game of the preseason is coming up against Oakland this week so we will get a first look at all of the new guys.

Incidently, Janoris Jenkins, McCleod, and Marcus Roberson are having great camps according to the coaching staff. The injury to E.J. Gaines can thus take its course without a detriment to the secondary. WE are loaded folks!

I really think we need a plan B at RT, just in case. We cannot afford to have Foles get smashed around while Havenstein adjusts to the pro game. Its great for Fisher to have confidence in his rookie, but a solid backup plan would be nice.

Unless Reynolds beats out Havenstein, which right now he hasn't, the only other contingency plan would be Brandon Washington or Steven Baker to take over the RT spot. Right now Havenstein is above those three players. So it looks as though Havenstein will be the guy.

I think he'll be just fine with run blocking, its pass blocking where I wonder if he'll be good enough right now. Maybe once the cuts start, some vet will be available as insurance? We all want to see Foles with some time back there and not running for his life because Havenstein is being eaten alive by NFL pass rushers.

I don't think is going to be that bad LTR. I think Havenstein will improve sufficiently in pass blocking by the opener to put those sort of fears to rest. They may use Harkey or an H-back to help him out until he gets it and his confidence becomes sustainable.

I sure hope so...It's really just the beginning of the season I'm a bit worried about. Heck, even Greg Robinson didn't begin last season as a starter and he was the #2 overall pick. I think we might have something really special going with Foles and I want to see him upright making throws, not running for his life lol

Undrafted Jacob Hagen won the STs competition on Saturday. His position is Safety and it'll be difficult for him to make active roster with all of our talented Safeties. Should make the PS though. Bryce Hager on the other hand is not taking practice as seriously as expected and is in danger of getting his big head shown the door according to Nick Waggoner.

Terrance Franks is the first camp casualty. Cut on Saturday and replaced by Marcus Forston. Forston, who is listed at 6-foot-3, 305 pounds played his college ball at Miami (Fla.). He spent time with the New England Patriots after going undrafted in 2012.

Not sure what the hell Bryce Hager could be thinking...A seventh rounder, which is a longshot to make the team in the first place, slacking off?

Yep, LTR. According Nick Wagoner, Hager thinks, because he is the son of his famous former player father Britt, he has a roster position locked up and the coaches are finding his attitude repulsive. He dogs a lot during practice and they are baffled. He fools around, he is going to be flippin' burgers for living.

Havenstein shouldn't really be expected to start at RT. I like the guy, but G Rob went #2 overall last year and didn't start until when?? Week 6 or 7?

I always say it.. These guys are going from college to the NFC West. It's a big step to adjust to. I think it's take some time to learn and develop the skills he will need in a very tough conference.

Let's hope he gets it fast.

Well there are a couple of vets inline that could take Havenstein's place until he gets it like GRob last year. Reynolds, Washington, and Baker. Let us see how Havenstein plays against Oakland this week.

Running the ball is the key to helping Havenstein and also the flare out of the backfield. It wouldn't be a bad idea for Foles to watch tape of Warner in the time it takes to throw the ball either.
