Getting a reliever at the deadline suddenly sounds like it would have been a much better idea.

It isn't like this is the first time we have called for Strick to be the closer. KCYa is a good reliever, but he is average at best as a closer and Strick looks like he could be closer to the top of the heap.

It isn't like this is the first time we have called for Strick to be the closer. KCYa is a good reliever, but he is average at best as a closer and Strick looks like he could be closer to the top of the heap.

Oh he'll be the closer, I just doubt this year.

Casilla hasn't exactly been lights out this year. I think its worth looking into Strickland as closer, at least for 2016.
