Goose and henke are both top 5 RP in this format(at least using milkian measures), Lavelle is a top 10 Lefty all time Reliever... those 3 alone make this a great bullpen... UK does not have the number one or number 2 to compete with Henke or Goose...

We'll have to disagree on that one. Goose and Henke were great closers, but the game was different. Check the stats on Rags, Shantz, Staley and Haines. No freaking way

I did... But i will tell you the Milkian measures focuses on 3 stats... WHIP, Strikeouts%, and HRs%... and Goose and Henke were both in the top tier...

Im assuming Mariano is 1. Then you've Eck and Wilhelm.....

But olden days guys, like Moore and Marberry that I drafted, get lost in the shuffle. Shantz especially. I try not to let the specialization era guys dominate my mindset in these.

Strikeouts were a different beast in the 20's. guys choked up and adjusted with two strikes. I don't think that area is a good measure across different eras.

I didnt only look at my measurements because i knew it was a little off... But I was overly impressed by some... I had Shantz being the 10th best from the 1957 group...

Yeah, it makes it tough. Some guys got a little bombed as starters.

But I know you did the work, and put in a milkian effort with your list. (I liked your bullpen the best and I can see why.)So I can't complain about where guys stand on it. (I don't have a relievers list, which makes it tough to complain aboot one. Hahahaha.)

He was MVP as a starter.

But his best ERA's and WHIPs came as a reliever. (Which is par for the course.)While a couple seasons where he bombed as a starter and went to the pen, really inflated some categories for his career.

This is crazy... Tough matchup.... I like both lineups and both rotations...

I think uk wins this one. I think the starters are a little better... And I like his l/r balance.
