1) Klay - Steph will have his nights, but night in and night out, I see Klay taking that next step this year
2) Tie between Livingston and FE in my book, those nagging injuries are going to persist
3) AI#9 - Sounds silly, but I think he can be much better this year than last year
4) DGreen - Not going to say Green is going to turn into crap, but more I think his minutes will be limited and his role will probably be different under Kerr. Jackson more than anyone elevated DG.
5) 53 wins
6) Dubs need Front Court help, I could see us dumping a 2nd round pick for a proven vet later this year
7) My heart wants to say NBA Finals, but I see us getting to the WCF and probably losing to OKC
8) Allstars - Steph, Klay, Bogut. DLee and AI#9 could be voted in as replacements
9) This list is pointless

1) Steph. The gap between him and Klay might close a bit, but he's still going to have to be the superstar on this team for us to win.
2) Ezeli. He hasn't seen the floor for a year and a half. At some point even if his injuries heal, his body will go through some shock. He'll have additional wear and tear. I think we'll be lucky if we can get 40 games from him this year.
3) Harrison Barnes. He was put in a bad spot last year by Jackson. With a more passing centered offense and weakside cuts, he'll be able to utilize his athleticism more and I think his production will skyrocket. I'm predicting a solid 12 and 4 year for him, with spot 20 point games every now and then.
4) Livingston. I'm not saying that he's going to be a bust, but a toe injury could start him off a little behind with respects to the offense and clicking with them. It may take a good half a season for the chemistry to develop between him, Steph and Klay. By the end of the year I see him being great for us, but overall for the year he'll have his ups and downs.
5) 54 wins.
6) No. I think they stand pat, barring some significant injury.
7) WCF. This is dependent upon 3 guys: Bogut, AI9 and Barnes.
8) Allstars - Steph & Klay.
9) Great prior to game 1 of the season. Pointless thereafter.

54 wins. Steph in the running for MVP. Klay hits 22 ppg. A true blue contender if HB ups his game and Bogut remains healthy. 3rd Best in the West.

Sushi, Agree but Livingston will fit in. He's a complimentary player who handls the ball a bit much but he'll have a real impact beyond his stats.

I've seen quotes where the Logo is very high on SL. I just hope we have a decent back up for Steph for atleast 3/4 of the year.

Nedo, Jordan Crawford, Blake, AI#9, who all have their talents, didn't exactly shine in their time running the show last year.

Having Barbosa, SL and even Craft should help in this matter, they say SL still needs to work on his jumper, but atleast he can still play defense for us.

Western Conference Finals.

:suds:

How you liking the Giants chances this year Dennis? I learned never to doubt a Bochy lead team in the playoffs, Panik is making me a believer, and Peavy has turned back the clock, or turned on the HGH.

I'd imagine they get past the Nats, but may have more trouble next round vs STL. Watching they come back vs Kershaw was priceless.

Our bench , and bullpen will probably get exposed next round. Morse being done after the 1st 2 months , Pagan, Scutaro, and Hector Sanchez being out is going to hurt us. I hope I'm wrong.

'Sup my friend? Bumgarner and the team got to lock this one down tomorrow and hope that the other series goes five so they can get their rotation set for a best of seven. I think Susak is a more than capable replacement for Sanchez, so the team seems okay there. And yes, in Bochy we trust.

Back on topic, this young Warriors team is becoming seasoned, so absent another rash of injuries, I think that they're ready to shake up the world and make it to the final four.

  1. Leading Scorer - Curry, but the gap closes a bit with Klay improving. Thompson's FIBA experience will prove to be a boon to his confidence level. He will make the all-star team
  2. Most Injured - ???
  3. Most Improved - I'd love it to be Barnes, who took such a big step DOWN in his game last year. Otherwise, I'd say AI, who looked lost a lot on the offense side of the ball last year. AI has to be in the game a lot for his all-around game, but it would be great if his offense would improve. Draymond's game will improve and this will help out the W's immensely, but given that he had a solid year last year, his improvement won't be so drastic that he's win "most improved"
  4. Biggest disappointment - David Lee if he doesn't add a solid mid-range jumper. As you age, you have to increase the array of shots you can hit consistently. Second choice, Harrison Barnes if his game stays at the same level as last year.
  5. How Many wins - 54
  6. Will there be a trade - maybe small trade or two. If it's a bigger trade, it would be Lee. GS should look to trade him if he doesn't develop a consistent 15-20 foot shot, and if he does, other teams may look to acquire him for this improvement. My true hope is that DL makes the improvement and the W's keep him.
  7. Playoffs? WCF? Lose in the 2nd round in 7 games.
  8. How many all-stars 2, Steph and Klay. If AI can add 5 more points to his average and also improve his FG%, when you couple this with his all-court game and outstanding defense, he could squeeze in there, especially if the W's record is exceptional at the break.
  9. Is this list pointless? No, it was fun. Good job.

David West is aging. I do like him but believe he has 2 more years until he is done and in the home. W/ Indy being out of the playoffs, West could be available for trade.

I don't much about cap room and cap space, etc., but I don't want the Warriors to take on another expensive seasoned player again, like with AI. I think they have to develop the players they've got. Curry's contract has maybe 2 years left on it and when Thompson's time has come to re-sign, he's going to be making $12 a year or so. Bogut has a big salary already too. I think that our improvements have to come from Draymond continuing to improve, H. Barnes finding his role on the team and being a solid contributor on a nightly basis, David Lee improving by working on his outside shot, which would then totally open up his inside game and either handed moves in the lane. Also, they have to get help to back up Bogut, whether Oneal resigns or if Ezili (sp??) gets healthy.

Alright... 2 pre-season games to get an idea of the flow and what people worked on.
Leading Scorer - Steph, but I think Klay will be the most consistent from game to game
Most Injured - Festus, unless they find a way to dump him, then I'd probably go to Bogut, just because he's always concerned with life after basketball and mentions it in every conversation about him not playing due to injury. Not knocking it, but he's less likely to push through an injury to play
Most Improved - Klay, he's taking the ball with both hands, looks under control always, still haven't seen him in pressure situations where he usually makes mental mistakes, but I think the USA exerience game him the swagger he'll need (Runner up, Lee... I like that he re-worked his shot.)
Biggest disappointment - Barnes. I think a lot of people want him to make a leap. I think he's a year away still
How Many wins - 54, start out hot, maybe see Kerr coaching the all-star game due to the best record
Will there be a trade - Possibly, if something opens up for Lee. I don't see it happening though.
Playoffss? WCF? - NBA Finals is the ceiling, WCF is my expectation (unless matchups dictate otherwise) Blake Griffin looks like he has an outside shot this season. Clippers going to make for a tough matchup again.
How many allstars. 2 or 3 - Steph + Klay maybe Lee
Is this list pointless? Absolutely not. This is the epitome of what a board is made for!

Hamb,

OKc is going to be at best 500 until KD returns so a 2-3 seed is optimistic but very doable.
