Final 4 games before the break... (which can't get here soon enough apparently).

Given that it's a rival - I'll be bold and say they split the series.

It would be a miracle but hope you are right on the split.

We're a team of attrition. Play enough games and you will one sooner or later. Sad.

Watching Neil Ramirez pitch... he's got a 1.1 ERA in 24 innings and is upper 90's with his heater. Fuck me sideways.

He was such a damn mess when he was with this organization too, not many people saw that coming

He had a couple good stretches followed with really bad stretches or injury

I think you pretty much have to roll with Choo as the DH going forward, I think the ankle is hurting far more in the field than the plate but when he does both it might be carrying over to his ABs

If the ankle is that bad why not just DL him? Why risk further decline when you have so much money locked up into the dude. Year one he gets hurt and you make him play everyday in the field? Seems pretty ridiculous.

@RangerBlake: Thu vs. LAA: Choo dh, Andrus 6, Rios 9, Beltre 5, Smolinski. 7, Pena 3, Chirinos 2, Martin 8, Rosales 4, Lewis 1.

For whomever is watching. Not sure I will. Keep up with the score, though.

Obviously thats not happening but if you're going to play him almost every day, might as well let him do what he was brought in to do, hit, he wasn't brought in for his defense

Swap Rosales for Odor and you're "cooking" but kids in a pretty rough slump, might need a day to clear his head

Kept checking back with the old thread and thought people just got tired of posting. Dawned on me we play a new series.

The 30 most exciting players in the Futures Game- Article (Last sentence on Gallo rather questionable)

5. Jorge Alfaro, C, Texas: The typical profile of a catching prospect reveals a guy with limited ceiling. Teams tend to play it safe with catchers. Alfaro is anything but safe, a 21-year-old at high-A with crazy power, a howitzer arm, absolutely no sense of plate discipline and a ceiling nearly unmatched. Watch from him to play a lot, too. Both of the other World team catchers – Atlanta's Christian Bethancourt and Boston's Christian Vazquez – have been summoned to the big leagues.

1. Joey Gallo, 3B, Texas: Because he's two years younger than Bryant, the 20-year-old Gallo probably won't start at third base. Here's hoping U.S. manager Tom Kelly starts Gallo as DH, because in a game filled with incredible power hitters, none can compete with Gallo. Like Bryant and Bryce Harper, Gallo is from Las Vegas, and at 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, he generates more pop from his left-handed swing than anyone. Last year, he was all raw power, whacking 40 home runs in 111 games. This year, he's at 31 in 84 games, and if the Rangers trade Adrian Beltre, he'll be their third baseman sometime in 2015.
