The SPURS would be the favorites to win it all regardless.

They are likely going to be 57-62 win team no matter what.....

But, with Pau Gasol, they would separate themselves into one of those special 65-70 win type teams.

He is still probably going to take more money in Chicago, but the Spurs are really appealing to him.

We shall see.

The Bulls would be acceptable, but I'd rather see him go to the Spurs.

You can't just go by scoring averages. Cleveland was horrible last year, so they had bed players like Waiters playing expanded roles. Despite that, Bennett could barely crack the rotation.

Barnes and Green, on the other hand both had important roles on a really good team.

They are definitely better, despite what their scoring averages might say.

No doubt. It's just you start with guys that can score and Waiters is that guy.

The Dude grabbed 6 boards a game. Hes a good defender great midrange shooter but not worth the max

You're providing stats that don't even come close to telling the story of how limited his role was.
Like I said before, I'm not trying to convince you to change your opinion just like you won't be able to change mine.

I'm still waiting for an actual answer to my question though.

Name any player in their prime with his credentials that didn't play for max money.

Not sure how interesting of news this is anyone who isn't a Hawks fan, but they signed Kent Bazemore. I personally love this move.

Didn't work on the warriors cause of mark Jackson but he was pretty relevant on the lakers

I don't know about anybody else.

But, I just became a huge Chris Bosh fan.

I know he was being a " Team Guy " by reducing his scoring for the betterment of the Team.

But, I think he enjoyed being Batgirl while getting Batman-like money.

Glad to see he had the nads to stay and wasn't interested in just coattailing it as the third wheel in Houston.

Things don't look nearly as bad for Miami as they did right after Lebron Fled.

There isn't a player in the NBA that can replace him.

But, getting a Deng/Ariza would keep them top 4 easily, unless Melo goes to the Bulls.

I agree. They can afford to pay Bosh & Wade and add a 3rd player to give them a solid trio.

Yeah, I looked at his stats and saw that, once he started getting some playtime, he seemed pretty solid. I wonder if he'll be coming off the bench or will start over John Jenkins.

Why does it matter what he did back then? Hes been on the decline, free throws cut in half since first year in Miami. Rebounds have gone down also. He's also on the wrong side of his prime

I am all in with the HAWKS in the east.

I bought in at 40-1 to win the east.

I think that is tremendous odds for a team that could very well be a top 4 seed.

I hope you're right. I would love to see us finally win an Eastern Conference title (or just make it past the second round). :suds:

Good bet. The Hawks are strong and if they stay healthy are a top 4 team in the East or at least top 5.

2 million a season is a bargain. It'll be interesting to see if he can play or was a product of Mike's offense.

They need someone like deng at the 3 then I agree. I can see them as a 3 seed though. Horford milsap huge factors

I'm reading where Riley is once again pursuing a Deng.
I don't love him, but we have a hole to fill at SF.
I guess he or Ariza is best available.

And what's the latest on Lance?

Give us Lance and either Ariza/Deng and it would really start to look interesting.

No doubt. It's just you start with guys that can score and Waiters is that guy.

Wrong. If Waiters is the scorer you are starting with, then your team will lose 65 games. Give me two good role players over an inefficient scorer every time.

I don't know what's up with lance but Miami was a little interested though
