Dude just stop. Barnes and Green BOTH have more potential than Waiters and Bennett. Bennett got sent to the Dleague, just stop it

:laugh3:

Barnes hasn't progressed yet.

The SPURS would be the favorites to win it all regardless.

They are likely going to be 57-62 win team no matter what.....

But, with Pau Gasol, they would separate themselves into one of those special 65-70 win type teams.

He is still probably going to take more money in Chicago, but the Spurs are really appealing to him.

We shall see.

If it is for true championship reasons - Pau would go to OKC. That position is their only true weakness on the team. You give Durant and Westbrook 1 more year, plus HOF Pau giving them 17/9 every night (when they were getting like 2pts per night from that spot), and the Thunder become the overall favorites, imo.

With that being said, I hope Pau either re-signs or goes East.

Gasol getting a lot of interest.

7:40pm: The Hawks are making an aggressive pitch for Gasol, tweets Wojnarowski. Atlanta is reportedly offering $11MM per year, but Gasol will likely pass on the offer, adds Wojnarowski.

Barnes hasn't progressed yet.

You can't just go by scoring averages. Cleveland was horrible last year, so they had bed players like Waiters playing expanded roles. Despite that, Bennett could barely crack the rotation.

Barnes and Green, on the other hand both had important roles on a really good team.

They are definitely better, despite what their scoring averages might say.

No it wouldn't. Pau would work well in both places but he'd be way better off in SA. With his skillset and SA's offense, the ball may literally never touch the ground. It'll just be a whirling display of cuts and passes.

I think they could win that many if they didn't rest guys so often, but they won't.

Also, remember that Mills and Ginobili may not be healthy to start the season.

You are forgetting something though. The Thunder still have Scott Brooks. He can't coach offense to save his life and he would probably end up starting Perkins and Gasol together and go back to playing Ibaka 24 minutes per game.

I don't know about anybody else.

But, I just became a huge Chris Bosh fan.

I know he was being a " Team Guy " by reducing his scoring for the betterment of the Team.

But, I think he enjoyed being Batgirl while getting Batman-like money.

Glad to see he had the nads to stay and wasn't interested in just coattailing it as the third wheel in Houston.

Things don't look nearly as bad for Miami as they did right after Lebron Fled.

There isn't a player in the NBA that can replace him.

But, getting a Deng/Ariza would keep them top 4 easily, unless Melo goes to the Bulls.

He took max 5 year money & loves the Miami lifestyle. That really doesn't change my opinion of him one way or another.

BTW: I had to block out your can crusher avatar. I can't stand her facial expressions when she first got some notoriety. She has gotten better recently though with her pouty or sour face.

I would say it's at least possible that green and Barnes capitalized on playing with curry, Thompson, etc. Going to Minnesota team with Rubio and not much else might not have the same easy opportunities

What is going on in Phoenix?

They are not keeping Bledsoe.

They already had Dragic, then drafted Ennis, now they signed Isiah Thomas?

I know they love small ball.

But, giving Thomas 27 mil might signal doom for Bledsoe who wants a max deal.

We are keeping Bledsoe & Dragic. Thomas will come off the bench. $7 mil a season in this market is not much for a guy can put up 20 & 6.

We had $37 mil to spend & there wasn't too many upper level FA available. So they are spending the money on quality guys who can fit our system. Compared to Fry or Meeks, this is a steal.

They aren't great bu any stretch, but they are better than Bennett and Waiters for sure.

Mayweather, Rousey.....I don't mind the obnoxious arrogance when they put their money where their mouth is.

Prince Naseem Hamed was my favorite fighter of all time and was a jerk and a clown.

He was in that category until he decided he didn't need to train for the Barrera fight.

Ronda absolutely OBLITERATED Davis.

So, she can mean-mug all she wants.

Why did they use a first rounder on Ennis?

They should have taken a big.

Ps. I absolutely love Thomas.

He is not Earl Boykins.

The guy belongs in the NBA and is being slept on because of his size.

My issue is more:

Why use a high 1st rounder on another smallish pg?
