Bosh is a good player but I dont think he would've made Houston that much better of a team. Parsons is a better shooter than Bosh and Bosh isnt the PF defender they need. Or G defender.

I"m looking at all this activity.....I see nobody wants to play for my Mavs. What I want to know is have you guys figured out that nobody wants to play with Kobe? We're in the same boat.

What I can't figure out is WHY. Dallas has a great market, great city, great owner, great facilities, and a recent title.....LA has legacy, great city, ownership that's willing to pay, and is basketball ROYALTY. Yet nobody is willing to sign with either team.

I believe the circle jerking was about getting hyped up over preseason wins. Let's be accurate.

Fans watch the players they have and hope for and look for the best....I totally get that.

Lakers would of DEFINITELY been in line but not at that price. I thought Bosh would get a max deal, but never did I think he would get THIS. Nothing wrong with getting paid though

Money > Concrete teammates on roster > Legacy > Promises of teammates on roster > Other random factors.

Legacy is just laundry compared to money and winning championships in the future. Legacy is more of a tiebreaker when multiple teams have similar offers

The East is still wide open, potentially, depending on what happens from here.

Of course James will have a lot to say about how it plays out...but that roster as is, right now....has a ton of question marks.

If nobody wanted to play with Kobe then we wouldn't have gotten this far into the Melo race. It's not Kobe, it's the situation. These days it seems that these players want max money or a for sure championship ready roster

I think it is interesting and means one of two things:

1. Bosh didn't give a damn. He was going with the highest bidder regardless.

2. Bosh was miserable playing with LeBron and only decided to stay after finding out LeBron was leaving.

Wrong.

Add one more:

3. Bosh wanted to play with LeBron and would have taken less $. When LeBron left and Miami offered him the full max, this option became much more attractive. If LeBron had stayed, he would have taken much less to stay.
