They can be in 4 hours, and regardless, he could announce just like all the others have.
It doesn't take a week to decide between LA or NY.
IMO he's keeping the door open for something, and I can't think of anything other than James being that something.

It is mindfuck. I would say it is with Melo, but maybe he is stalling for Bosh to leave. Only thing I can think of, unless he is really undecided. The Cavs have made it interesting, especially with this KLove crap.

You can look at LBJ talking this over with his family one of two ways

1) Even though they all want to go back to Ohio, he tells them that his heart is in Miami and he will want to stay.

2) Due to #1 he try to see if his family can change his mind back to Cleveland.

I don't see the need of talking to his family if he wants to go back Cleveland as they all approve of that according to sources

Isn't that the same family who thought it was best for him to come to Miami 4 years ago?

I call bullshit on all of it, he will do what HE wants to do, because that is what he always does.

I honestly don't think he cares to play on the West Coast. It's not like he's met with any other Western Conference teams.

Suns should stop waiting around before they lose out on other quality players

its probably a selling point to stay in the east that unless your a horribly bad team like the Milwaukee bucks your getting in playoffs.

His heart will always be in Cleveland. That being said, I think it is about DWade and his mobility and the roster. I wouldn't be sold on what the Heat have done SO FAR.

I agree.
I never, ever thought he would play for Gilbert, even with an apology, yet alone without one.

I still don't think he's agreeing to any team without a face to face first.

All I know is that if LBJ goes back to Cleveland he doesn't care about rings.

Not one person in here can tell me with Cleveland current roster, they're in better shape than Miami to win a title or 2 in the next 2-3 years.

It's no maybe about in my opinion. Nothing is changing with chi, ny, and la. Melo is waiting to see what Lebron does.

Please stop with the premature Wade death.

Kyrie has played 70 games a total of 1 time in his career.
Wade shot 12%'higher than Kyrie last year.

Wade and the rest of the Heat had a shitty Finals and ran into a buzz saw.
Nothing more, nothing less.

I said before playoffs that if they somehow lost finals LeBron would leave. my personal opinion is that he sees kyrie irving. and the gifted by the league #1 pick as something to work with. he probably sees irving as more of a solid player compared to wade's uncertainty with injuries

As I said before if he's not sold on what the Heat have done so far, he should've been notified them he will not be coming back since he opted out because what the heat are doing isn't a surprise. No way could the Heat have gone out there and acquired guys like Ariza, Gasol, Deng, or Lowry with the big 3 coming back unless one of them wanted to take the MLE

You can't have your cake & eat it too. You can't expect to get the max contract, play with Bosh/Wade, and still have great role players.

I don't think it works like that with RFAs anymore. You can't sign & trade them in their first year. Once Parsons agreed to sign with Dallas, Houston either matches or lets him go. Phoenix & NO went through a similar situation with Eric Gordan. I could be wrong.

Damn....I checked.....you're right, sir.

:agree:

People shit on Wade like he avg 12 PPG on 43% shooting. The guy was still very good and had his moments where he was dominant throughout the season

Um, he never met with Miami. Last I heard, it's between LA and NY.

Lebron could lead the Cavs back to the Finals, but the result will be the same as 2007.

Houston can keep Parsons if Bosh signs first. They can go over the cap to keep Parsons.

I realize things would have to move fast since the Rockets have just 3 days to make a decision, but it's still possible.

I don't think Parsons is coming back. He will be the 2nd highest paid Rocket if he come back.....YES ahead of Harden.

Um, he never met with Miami.
I only think that's the case because Miami is not a viable option so long as their showing loyalty to Bosh

That is why I think what Houston did was a big mistake. They threw all their eggs into one basket or "went for the HR". Houston could have exercised Parsons' 4th year at a decent pay raise or resigned him for cheaper than what Dallas is offering, they gambled that they could sign a big named player & still be able to bring Parsons back. They hoped the RFA tag would keep teams from offering a contract. Now they will be forced to match Parsons' inflated salary or lose him.

First bad move made by Houston in sometime. They have been solid. Must feel good about them getting Bosh....
