Most of Nos team I have to google to see who they are. :noidea: you might have the best team if they played but your not going to get the fan vote.

Seems me and smitty are thinkin the same way. Although I might add Kobe to that list.

Yeah, I added Kobe, Dirk and Nash. Durant hasn't really played long enough for my liking in this format. (Im not going off "prime" years or career. Kind of a mixture of the both.). I could probably add DWade, but he would have got murdered in the paint early in his career. If his early career had been pre-98 or so. 3 point shooters will only get a certain amount if credit from me also. Most of NBA's lifespan was played without it.

Im cool with lots of current players,...... off the bench. They were just all gone by the time I went looking for them. Had to settle for HOFers lower in my rotation instead.

any of the methods will work, seems like the best way to seperate the early birds to the late whores would be 1 v 9, 2 v 10, 3 v 11, 4 v 12, 5 v 13, etc..then you don't have 8 v 9

I know, I still can't believe how many HOFers, ring wearers are still not on teams. You look at the top 100 to 150 players of all time and amazed how many aren't in this draft.

It's kind of crazy how much the 50's, 60's and 70's era guys were ignored. Not like we're talking ancient history-barnstorming-two hand set shot guys. But greats pre Bird vs. Magic definitely got downplayed by most in this draft. (Jerry Lucas off the bench is just nuts. The guy was as big of star and fan favorite as there was. But his career ended in the early 70's...)

lol, it was nice to almost have your pick out of 30+ years of players though...

I still think I could draft an entire team that could compete with about 1/3 of the current teams (weak spot would be Centers left of course)

Paul Arizin

In the early days of the NBA a handful of pioneering players laid the groundwork for what would become "modern" basketball. What Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, and Cy Young were to baseball, these early hoopsters were to the game of basketball. One such player was Paul Arizin. Playing in an era of old-fashioned two-handed set shots and slow-up offenses, Arizin burst into the league in 1950 with a repertoire that included a daring new weapon: the jump shot. By the time Arizin was leading the league in scoring as a second-year player with the Philadelphia Warriors in 1952, only a few other players had mastered the shot

complete agree, this guy was a steal and the 2nd best last 3 round pick after Oscar Schmidt, lol.

crap give them some left overs and get this rolling....Charles Scott, Vern Mikkelsen, Guy Rogers are 3 that aren't taken, looks like they both could use some HOFers.
