Moving on ensures we don't end up with zilch like last year

We were looking at like 4 different options last year. We ended up with zilch because we were very unfortunate and couldn't figure out what we REALLY wanted to do. I don't think there were any players (besides greinke maybe) that really stopped us in our tracks. I just think we had too many options and weren't invested in all of them because one of the options actually working for us would have put an end to the others. I think this is different. We are completely focused on choo because we think we're gonna get him and he gives us the best chance to win.

Ya I don't see why we would move on to be honest. I mean we got him. If he makes our team better than any alternative then its worth waiting for. Even if we don't sign anyone else, we get a leadoff hitter and an outfielder

We can only hope. I'm praying its ends soon

Yep
Thought we had Greinke, and within 24 hours
GONE

This is far more serious, we had pitchers.
anyway....I'm sure JD is working on other things, unlikely he ever stopped

I will accept your optimism and hope that enables us to land the best options available, however i think Cruz and Morales gives us a better chance to win now than giving Choo 120+ million dollars

Another option we should perhaps consider is signing those two and then trading rios and moreland for an established controllable leadoff? Haven't really thought of that

Wait... We actually had grenkie in the bag until last second? I don't remember that. Who reported that?

This is how I remember it. For the record, I never read any report we had greinke nor did my friend. It was down to just us and LAD. Then there was a report that said something like "The dodgers are backing off from greinke and preparing to look elsewhere for pitching" to which my friend saw and texted me that it was absolutely not true at all and its just a ploy from them. I went to the espn boards and told them because they were all flipping out because they thought we got greinke. Then they all got pissed at me and I got frustrated so I just left. A few hours later the report came that he had decided to sign with them.

That's why I never trust most of the reporters

Glad you are rested, I'm working on a 18 hour day. Just want some clarity, so we can see where we can go after the offense

I'm a little tired, but the place to myself....eveyone sleeping?
it's fantastic
until morning.....lol

JD will pull of something, might be painful in trades...but he will. There's no way he was going to gamble everything on one man after last year's Upton fiasco
