Self-proclaimed Asshole
End all, tell all; to only give up 1 run in that situation is a good thing, even before Ortiz stunk it up
Wash's piss poor management saved by incredible talent yet again.

This is exactly what I'm talking about and you end up bringing Ross in to an even worse situation anyways. This is the reason wash has got to go.
Should be 1-1 if done the right way the first time.
There's no way you can assume it would be 1-1 even if he had brought in Ross first
Ross might have pitched different and gave up a hit, you never know
I'm happy with the result, but not the execution
Now I am even more pissed that Ross got us out of this after the damage was already done . I fully understand your frustration with Wash.
Fact is, it was the wrong decision regardless of the results. Wash has yet again failed to put his team in the best position to succeed.

Last line speaks to that
No matter what the decisions by the manager, to only give up one run = good
How we got to that point because of managerial decisions = bad
Managers should be judged on the quality of the decisions themselves. Not just the results. A decision is good or bad regardless of the results.
It's exactly the kind of crap I'm always talking about. What more does the FO need to see?
Your statement also makes the assumption that simply by bringing in Ross first it would still be 1-1, we have no way of knowing that, b/c thats not what happened
Only thing that can be debated is the bringing in of Ortiz over Ross, which we all agree was the wrong decision
THATS NOT WHAT I'M SAYING, I'M AGREEING WITH YOU!
dear god you can be dense sometimes
No. You're assuming I'm basing my opinion on the results. The decision was right or wrong when it was made regardless of the results. That was wrong from the start.
When you say things like it should be 1-1, you're basing it on the decision and the result,
Your decision = bring Ross in
Result = Ross had a 1-2-3 outing, therefore it should be 1-1 still
TERRIBLE LOGIC
you cannot assume that in a different situation that Ross would've had the same result
I'm not even talking about Wash anymore, I'm talking about false assumptions
I guess I'm misunderstanding what you're saying. I'm a little fired up right now.
