UCONN basically had their whole defense drafted.

FSU suprised me though, didn't know they had that many.

Shiano did one hell of a job recruiting for Rutgers when he was there. Expect a big drop off in wins as that talent dilutes out.

And it wasn't that they had a lot of low draft picks either

FSU

1st round 16th pick (BUF) - EJ Manuel, QB
1st round 24th pick (IND) - Bjoern Werner, DE
1st round 25th pick (MIN) - Xavier Rhodes, CB
2nd round 8th pick (SF) - Cornelius Carradine, DE
2nd round 10th pick (OAK) - Menelik Watson, OT
5th round 21st pick (WAS) - Chris Thompson, RB
5th round 29th pick (WAS) - Brandon Jenkins, DE
6th round 9th pick (BUF) - Dustin Hopkins, K
6th round 12th pick (SF) - Nick Moody, OLB
6th round 38th pick (PIT) - Vince Williams, LB
7th round 23rd pick (MIN) - Everett Dawkins, DT

That is 5 in the 1st 2 rounds.
A kicker and the team's 3rd DE picked in late rounds.

Well, if you're only going to have one guy drafted you might as well have him drafted 1st.

Added an FCS conference. But, three of the players were from teams going to the FBS level soon.

with psu sanctions and move to the B14G, they should be ok as long as coaching stays competent.

Big dropoff for the Badgers. It was a pretty young team, but I don't expect to see another freakish influx of Badgers for a couple of years. The OL and DL are very young.

Man, Michigan with only 2. RichRod should give his money back.

Yah. RichRod was so overhyped, he will shit all over the Zona program. Just like Kiffin did and will at USC.

I had a feeling I messed something up. I did it pretty quick and used this source

2013 NFL Draft Tracker ? NFL.com

I went by each conference. Of course, I was just wanting to get it done fast enough I didn't even care to see if CMU was on it. P12 came up with 0, so I went through each school in that conference.

Wikipedia had like 20 picks needed to be updated when I did it.

yeah i looked at that too. the fact they didnt even list the #1 overall pick is sketch. ESPN has it alphabetical by school. little more work but more accurate.

Some of those guys that would normally go to PSU will go Rutgers.

If they win they will still get some good recruits. NJ is very underrated when it comes to high school talent. There are some big time private schools there that are major Rutgers pipelines. I think Rutgers biggest problem recruiting wise will be the upcoming public perception demise that the Big East is fixing to go through. I know most people didn't pay any attention to them after VT, Miami, BC, etc. left (if they did before)......but the Big East is going to officially go to shit very very soon. Some players that they may normally get, aren't going to want to play in a conference where their best conference game every year will be against Cincy.

Wisconsin has done well in NJ. I think Georgia actually does okay there too. There are great football players up there, especially right along the Pennsylvania border.
