We might as well start this thread.......beings that this is going to be the premier guy to follow for Nebrasketball over the course of this next season.......just add updates here regarding Akoy anytime you hear them.

Right now, the inside information that I'm getting is that basically Agau has 3 schools standing out equally above the rest: Georgetown, UCONN, and Nebraska. And let me tell you, there are a lot of very good schools in the list of offers he has right now. Several schools with National Championships.....

We are right there in the mix. If we get his commitment, there is no reason to think Nebraska cannot be a threat to win the BIG sometime in the very near future.

The Weird Herald said today that Akoy is going to Virginia for his senior season to play with friends he met playing club ball if he liked it there. On a side note, he played with Bryan High kids over the summer before he was a high school freshman, only to shock those players and the Bryan coach when he showed up at Central for school. Akoy is full of surprises. :confused2:

Agau is a good prospect. Fran had his eye on him for a bit but decided to look elsewhere. That being said, You have to have depth built up to make through the B1G. If he does go to Nebraska, hopefully you guys can get some more to follow. One PF isn't going to win you the conference.

i know you edited, but really? you guys would love to have him. his top 3 are apparently UCONN, Georgetown, and Nebraska. odds we get him? probably not great. but even being in his top 3 helps with recruiting.

White 6'8"
Olaseni 6'10"

and are bring in
Adam Woodbury 7'0"
and
Kyle Meyer 6'10"

As of now, for 2013, he have 1 maybe 2 scholarships open. What we need is a G/F who can create his own shot. If he decides Iowa, awesome. If not, Fran will find who he wants.

And I would take a dozen guys commited then One IMO Prima Donna. I care about this thing called Class Nebraska kinda has a reputation with it and I would like to keep it that way.
