My laptop literally had like 1 mb of free space on it about 5 minutes ago... I couldnt imagine wtf was taking up so much space... So I found a file called "N360 backup", it was 230GB, I deleted it, lol. It has to do with Norton. What did I just do?

You deleted a back up copy of your hard drive

It can be disabled under settings too

You just deleted the backup folder used by Norton 360. Honestly, if it's that big consider getting an external USB drive to backup to.

Does N360 have a way to delete only old backups? I usually remove any backups older than 6 months. If it is something worth keeping I'll burn it to CD or DVD and archive it instead of backing it up.

but then best buy can pull you harddrive for $99
