You have to look here to find him

I tell ya man.. If they are guilty I really believe that moments like this in court should be taken into account for what they are putting the victim through. I think it should add to the punishment.

Well unless Tocchet plans to coach in the KHL one day, that's the only way he'll have Carter Hart on the team he's coaching.
another possibility to coach Carter Hart is maybe Tocchet will be involved in Operation Slapshot 2 and start coaching in the Penal league

You reading the same story I did? She's not denying it. She's saying "they made me feel like I wanted it. So that's still r*pe."

I don't know why the shitty canadian government is dragging her naked ass through the mud. This was over for her. Everyone had moved on. And they pulled her back in front of the world and exposed her to this trial.

Just wanted to make a post honoring my team and 50 years. 1 Cup, a lot of playoff appearances, 3 President's Trophies, a lot of division titles, many disappointments the made sweeter the victories, and the greatest goal scorer the NHL has ever seen. It's been a hell of a ride and I'm so glad to be a hockey fan and a Caps' fan. Great season, boys. Ready to ride for OV's (likely) final season next year.

Seems perhaps a juror felt someone in Formenton's defense team said something offensive about her. The trial will continue by judge alone.

Also worth noting that neither the judge nor juror has spoken on the issue. That information was released to the media by Formenton's lawyers - potentially in violation of the Publication Ban.

Must be going super well for the defense if they are trying that hard for a mistrial.

Just wanted to follow up your post honouring your team since 1974 and honour my team since 1970. (it is like ChatGPT really knows my thoughts on this one)

The Vancouver Canucks: A Masterclass in Almost Winning Since 1970

Ah, the Vancouver Canucks. A team so steeped in history, you'd think they'd have something shiny to show for it by now—besides a well-worn collection of participation ribbons and broken dreams.

Founded in 1970, the Canucks entered the NHL with all the optimism of a kid bringing a Nerf gun to a tank battle. Since then, they’ve racked up over half a century of trying really, really hard. And by "trying," we mean redefining what it means to almost succeed.

Let’s take a moment to highlight their proudest achievements:
  • 1982: Made it to the Stanley Cup Final after a miracle run, only to be swiftly dismantled by the New York Islanders, who were too busy building a dynasty to notice Vancouver had shown up.
  • 1994: Came within a single goal of glory. Game 7. Madison Square Garden. The dream died somewhere between Trevor Linden’s second goal and Nathan Lafayette hitting the post. The parade was planned. The heartbreak was legendary.
  • 2011: The year hope was reborn… and then burned to the ground—literally. After going up 2–0 in the Finals, the Canucks remembered who they were and proceeded to get outscored 21–4 in their next four losses. Vancouverites coped by setting the city on fire, which at least gave them the headline they craved: “Canucks Finally Make History.”
Since then, it’s been a beautiful tapestry of rebuilds, retools, and repeated existential crises. Every year, fans say “this is our year,” and every year, the Canucks respond, “Did we say this year? We meant next year.”

But let’s give credit where it’s due. Few teams can turn not winning into an art form. The Canucks aren’t just losers—they’re iconic losers. They’ve become the NHL’s answer to Shakespearean tragedy: noble characters, epic battles, and a consistent theme of self-inflicted wounds.

So here’s to over 54 years of heartbreak, high-sticking, and high hopes. The Stanley Cup may still be a myth in Vancouver, but at least the memes are real.

Rick mentioned the practice facility in Philly as one the most exciting things that drew him there lol holy hell hahahaahahahahaha

they asked about the issues in Vancouver.

sometimes things happen and there is not a bad guy, somethings dont work out.

I think we exhausted as a group what we could do and I learned alot from that time.

How soft Canadians are.

"The issue arose Thursday after one of the jurors submitted a note indicating that several jury members felt they were being judged and laughed at by lawyers representing one of the accused as they came into the courtroom each day. The lawyers, Daniel Brown and Hilary Dudding, denied the allegation.

Carroccia said she had not seen any behavior that would cause her concern, but concluded the jury’s negative impression of the defense could impact their impartiality and was a problem that could not be remedied."

This was a juror. A weak canadien citizen with a weak mind. Probably some pink haired freak with piercings.

This whole case is a clown show. And one of the many proofs of why the canadian government should be replaced in its entirety.
