If Ramos had just gone to third on the first error, the second error never would have happened. But because of the delay at 2B, the throw to third was rushed.

I was OK with letting Gaus walk at the time. He didn’t have the track record to indicate his performance with us was sustainable, and while by all reports he wanted to stay, he still wanted serious (but probably fair) money. I didn’t see him as a good risk.

Time has ruled that I was wrong. But given the info I had at the time, I was ok with him walking. And 20/20ing myself now doesn’t do any good, imho.

I agree on all points. I was ok with it too given the contract.

Yeah they’ve been struggling lately but still have one of the best if not the best pitching in the league. Should be 2 low scoring games but baseball can be weird like today
