Finished a 7 round mock at the hoop where we all take a team and select.

For Denver, I couldn't find value good enough early on to take a WR after taking Hampton in Round 1. Didn't see the point of it later on. Will grab a couple WR's and a P when we do Free Agency. I did end up doubling up on RB due to the value. Made sure my second RB pick was a RB who would push for the 3rd down and home run hitting, speed role. Seemed like the value on day 3 was on defense with how this draft went.

Denver Broncos

Round 1- Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Round 2- Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
Round 3- Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville
Round 4- Jared Ivey, DE, Mississippi
Round 6- Collin Oliver, EDGE, Oklahoma State
Round 6- Kitan Crawford, S, Nevada
Round 6- Marcus Yarns, RB, Delware

Hampton and Taylor are grand slam picks. I like Riley but I want to think McMillian/Abrams-Draine are gonna lock up the rotation. That said, we kept 6 on the initial roster and after the top 4 plus Mathis, we suck. Love Oliver but he's another numbers guy. Our top 4 are set so we either need to keep a 5th or spend elsewhere. Crawford and Yarns are good 6th round flyers.

Only guy I don't know about is Ivey. His physical skills are great...something just strikes me as off with him. However, in the 4th..he's a good option.

Thanks for the feedback Ben.

I had the same thought with CB. Was it worth taking one in Rd 3? I like our top 4..

However, I REALLY like Quincy Riley. I am super high on him probably more then most.. I didn't see value at WR. Riley's stock is a little hard to judge but I have him high and thought the value was there. My take on CB. As we all know you can never have enough good CB's. Last year we REALLY struggled when Surtain or Moss were out with injury. McMillian is a FA at the end next year and while I like Abrams-Draine a lot we still have to see how much he grows year two. A guy who damn near didn't make the team last year because he had such a rocky start to camp and then rebounded last minute to make the 53 man but sit inactive. When called upon late he looked solid enough that with growth you think we should be able to depend on him. Great ball skills like Riley, my type of DB's!

Oliver is a sack specialist and I think he can be a nice rotational pass rush specialist. In round 6 my plan was to go Nick Martin his Okie State teammate but sadly he was taken 1 pick before me (how often does that actually happen in Round 6?) :( . The value was there with both of them, IMO. At least one of our EDGE's is going to miss time this year (of course we may sign Von Miller but going into this draft we haven't). I'd have just rathered take Oliver that late with what I label him as high upside as a situational pass rusher then take some position just to take a position and not be high on the player. When it got to Round 6 I went with value. Could have taken Quinn Ewers but that seemed boring and unlikely. ;)

Crawford was a steal, IMO. He posted a 88.5 IGA scre and ranks in the 89th percentile among safeties. He clocked 21.9 MPH on tape... His physical traits are out of the world. Also a former Texas Longhorn so that will either make @LGM happy or mad. I love Crawford, this pick may not be good news for JL Skinner though. Turner-Yell is better on special teams, Skinner can hit but we inactivated him a few times healthy and hurt (bad sign when a S is a healthy scratch because it means they aren't fulfilling well enough on special teams to keep them active) he did make his usual punishing hits and I still have faith but Denver had no faith on putting him in at S last year. Devon Key and Keidron Smith were ahead of him on S reps when needed.

Jaleel McLaughlin is a PS star but so far I am not seeing it in the regular season. Yarns is here to push his role.

Ivey was a rd 2 pick until a horrible combine. His value in Round 4 is really good.

My most questionable pick IMO is taking Quincy Riley in Rd 3. I just liked the value and could't help but think of watching Levi Wallace try to cover last year when Surtain and Moss were out (thankfully they weren't out at the same time) also if we do lost McMillian next year, Riley would move right into that slot role. He covers injuries and Free Agency. The value was too good but I am also super high on him. Other may tell you he is more of a Round 4 pick but I think he is going around where I grabbed him. Just super high on him and Kitan Crawford.

I will also post my undrafted signings. I nearly drafted Florida P Jeremy Crawshaw but hoping to sign him undrafted.

Love James Burnip. Australian kicked who has visibly improved every year. Lots of hang time...only allowed 5 punt return yards this season. 19 kicks inside the 20. I'd happily spend a 6th on him and watch him kick in the altitude for 12 years.

Crenshaw is legit too. There are actually a few solid punters this year...hard to get excited about those guys but Denver really needs to have a weapon in that area. It just wastes the altitude when they don't.

Burnip would be fine with me. Being a Florida fan I really prefer Crawshaw because he is really good but either could be the top P taken. I would rate them about the same without digging too much into P scouting. :)

Is Grant moving to OT haha

We have a solid starting OL and for the first time in a long time depth at OL combined with some guys who can play multiple spots. We haven't even brought Quinn Bailey back yet who Sean Payton really seemed to like last year. Giving him a chance to see if there is any other interest before bringing him back.

My preference for Burnip is 100% Alabama related. Lol.

As someone who equally hates both SEC teams here, I'd take Burnip.
