While I wasn’t thrilled with the rest of the draft after Avila, I am hopeful some of these guys pan out.

It is very interesting that the theme of this draft outside of Avila was players on the small side and older.

They drafted multiple 24-25 year old players. And almost all of the players are on the small side for their positions.

I don’t know why they are so adverse to taking bigger players.

And seeing that a lot of them are older, where is the upside if they are going to take time to develop as it is?

I was just so stoked at their first pick that I thought they had figured some things out and it was going to be a great draft, and then they went back to the same old Rams drafting.

It’s disheartening when you see the Rams draft, and then see what the Eagles did coming off a SB appearance.

Rams are signing Christopher Dunn, kicker from NC State. Dude has never missed an extra point but he is only 82.4% in FGs. Ouch. Should have kept Gay boy. The Rams also signed Alex Ward LS.

Rams are going to have a long list of UDFA’s just to fill the roster.

The problem of our drafts resides in Mcshitferbrains. At least Snead was masterful at getting 3 extra picks but they then wasted them on less than players and this is the Hallmark fingerprints of Sean ShitfirBrains McVay.

If the Rams would have had a First Round pick, the complexion of their draft would have drastically changed. The Rams would have the Sixth overall pick and we could have taken a Jalen Carter for example. The fact that Snead kept his Third Rounders, got a Fourth Rounder, and manipulated picks to have four in the Fifth Round is a testament to Snead's structural draft acumen. McShitfirBtains has the final say in player additions and this is where the problem resides. He routinely ignores better talent to take some obscure player who has achieved some reward level like say Mr Irrelevant who had a huge 14.5 sacks production in college his senior year at DE. McShitfirBrains obviously has an over- exaggerated opinion of his ability to evaluate player talent. Case in point, Brian Allen and now a guy like Zach Evans.

I firmly believe the new offensive line coach was the driving force behind the selection of Avila at 36. It certainly wasn't McShitfirBrains!

After further review, Davis Allen is an exact replica of Tyler Higbee. Same size, plays the same way. Good Pick.

After a continued review and watching a Kurt Warner analysis vid, the twins might have stolen several good to great players who will surprise the fans on this team. Snead did his part and McVay may have changed his strategy a bit allowing greater input on player selections from his assistant coaches than ever before. Case in point: Mr Irrelevant who is turning out to be quite the DE. Two other examples are Tomlinson and Taylor.

BTW, RB Zach Evans was initially listed as 5'8, 205 on several reports and I thought we selected Darrell Henderson 2.0. Wrong. The dude is actually 6.0, 218. He is indeed the big back we all wanted and as McShitfirBrains explained, compliments Akers and Williams quite well. Another good pick by the twins apparently.

WR is injury prone though

Hopefully that doesn’t carry over to his NFL career

McVay was complimenting Snead and the scouting department for setting up the draft board, so clearly there is more input than just him.

Not sure I’ve heard him talk like that before.

Sounds like it was a group effort.

Would’ve loved Johnson, but he went much earlier to the Bears.

So, hopefully Evans is similar. We need a guy that can pound the rock inside for short yardage and goal line situations.

All you gotta do is go watch the 2022 NCAA title game on YouTube.

Stetson Bennett > Bryce Young and it’s not even close

2023 NCAA title game is really impressive tape for Stetson

He’s a bruiser. Discount Debo Samuel is something I read.

We don’t need another large injury bug / pandemic

He’s been compared to B Robinson from Texas and the 1st round RB from Bama his entire career. Was rated higher out of high school and never got a boatload of carries in college.

He’s got power and alot of speed

Really Good get no doubt for a 6th round RB
