I shall work hard to regain your trust, but I could not pass up a Boston bet today as I try to regain my SportsHoopla betting fortune.
Hold your head in shame all the way to the bank.

2nd round Boston v. Philly gonna be the real series to watch.
And probably Bucks Celtics will be the series that determines the champ

I agree... but the games have got to be played, and a lot could happen.

I really think this is Boston's year... but I'm a fan, so that's not saying too much.

Most seem to agree it's them or the Bucks

Atlanta will still find a way to win a game or 2

Yeah, I am with DJ.

I am fully aware of the tendency to overreact to game 1. I am usually the person to make fun of those that do it.

But Boston is a lot better. And the matchups just not good for Atlanta.

Series a lot more likely to end in 4 than 6 IMO.

Good for Atlanta for making the playoffs, but this is pretty bad.

Boston sweep is definitely the more likely outcome of this series

In fairness to Atlanta, that team is a juggernaut. There’s maybe 1 or 2 teams that matchup with them in a 7 game series.

Hawks were actually up 11 in Q1...

... just doesn't seem like ATL can sustain anything in this matchup, and Boston can flex a little whenever they need to.

Taking care of business so far.

They’re a machine. And with the way they’re built THIS is their time of year. Scary scary squad.

I thought maybe Atlanta could take one in ATL. We will see.

Cs are just dialed in. They started late tonight but then they just cut them up after that. Felt like they were playing with them. It’s like Hawks would creep and the Celtics would just nip it in the bud.

Thanks. I think this is the best version of the Celtics we've seen in the last few years... having not 1, not 2, but 3 legit starting PG's on a team is obscene... and the overall 3 pt shooting is far steadier this year compared to the past.

That said: Philly gonna be a real challenge. I still like the match-up from Boston's point-of-view... but Embiid is a force, and a smart game-plan could be developed and executed around him. Frankly, I've always felt the '6ers let down a little mentally versus the Celtics and have a tendency to get away from what works (running offense through Embiid in the post).

I fully expect Philly to be hungry and eager to prove they can break the recent trend between our 2 clubs.

We disagree on the WAY the Sixers should attack the Celtics but we agree on the matchup. I think they get too Embiid dependent. The Celtics just lock down everybody else. Math takes over and Embiid can’t score 100-110 to keep up with Celtics production. I think the thing that makes them different is Derrick White and Brogdan. Those guys have feasted on the Sixers in this matchup. They’ve been a better group than any Smart pairing when it comes to net rating.

The Sixers need help to win this series. The last three games, they have done a solid job on Tatum and forced inefficient shooting nights. They need to hold him down to something 17-22 range. They need to lean on Embiid at the defensive end and not double off of shooters with dribble drive. They need to trust that Embiid will alter or contest enough shots around the rim. They have to do that because they need to harass the Celtics into a bad shooting night. Tatum and Brown can be checked for a guaranteed 45-50 every night. Everybody shoots on that roster so it’s easier for the Cs to have found two guys that have a hot shooting hand. I still think they have a different gear we haven’t seen yet either. This is the best Sixers team I’ve seen in forever and they catch the tough luck of seeing this team in round 2.
