Watch out NBA. He is shooting 25% from 3 over his last 3 games

Not sure why they included the 25% from 3 part but IMO he should continue to start for now. Seems like all games as a starter are 8-10 points, a few rebounds, a few assists, 1-2 steals and/or blocks and limited or no TOs. Not usually what one wants from a starting SF but might be what THIS team needs.

I never said they would win it- I said it was just more likely. And it is.

More likely NOW.

But not likely at all.

And if they don’t get one with this core?

Good luck getting there again in the next 20 years.

Are the Knicks better than the Cavs today?

Of course not.

What I have said, and what I stand by is that the Knicks are more likely to win a title next.

Because as good as the Cavs core is, I am still betting on the field.

And someday Dolan will sell the team, the Knicks will get competent management and it is just a huge upper hand being in that market vs Cleveland.

And you know all this.

But we can make a bet if you want on the Cavs.

As much Vcash as you want. You take the Cavs for as long as Garland and Mobley are on the roster, I take the field.

If the Cavs win a ring, you win. If they don’t, I win.
That would prove any kind of point? You taking the entire field vs. the Cavs? For this discussion, wouldn't it make more sense for him to take Cavs and you get the Knicks?

Long term?

As in winning a championship?

Yeah I said that. And I own that.

Similar to @msgkings322, I am betting against Cleveland winning because it is so much of an uphill battle for a market like them to get to that level.

Has nothing to do with how well they have rebuilt the roster.
I would have agreed at the time it was said.....how about just say they did a much better job than anyone could have imagined as opposed to saying you'll take the field over them to win a title while Garland/Mobley are still here? I'd take the field over almost any team.

Defending Champion Warriors have a legit path to improvement with Health.

What are the Lakers with everyone available?

AD went Wilt and you still can’t sniff .500.

Trades are always on the horizon. Maybe Jay can distract Jeannie long enough to get some moves approved, lol.

It’s hilarious to me that you’re acting like the Cavs have done something when it isn’t even Christmas yet in the NBA. I think to myself where does that come from and then I say to myself…oh Cleveland. They just don’t know any better because for the most part sports in that realm of the world is a black hole outside of college football.
Since we are discussing basketball here what might be more hilarious is a fan of a team that last won a title during the Reagan Adm (the first one) would try to rip a team that won one only 6 years ago and has rebuilt itself to at least look like they could compete for another soon.

They do have a better roster but they are still young. Poole isn't leading a bunch of youngsters to wins. They have good pieces around their main core...the Lakers don't have good pieces around their core. The Lakers and Warriors should make a move, the W's have less desperation though.
First it was, the Nets suck too.

Uh, not anymore.

Now it’s “ but the Dubs “!!!!

Yes, GS has struggled, even when healthy.

…..and to an extent, some of us have given them a pass.

But, they won it all last year.

That buys them some grace.

No matter what happens from here on out, Lebron and AD’s Laker days were worth it all because of that chip.

But, it’s starting to appear like that year was the exception and the others the rule.

Yeah.

But, the Lakers can’t beat either of those teams.

Which is one hell of an indictment considering you have 3 future hof players.
1 damn free throw vs the Celtics. They obviously CAN beat them. Lakers/Clips haven't had a game of complete rosters available yet, remains to be seen.

Market still means a lot.

How else do you explain the Lakers in 2020?

Totally incompetent management and yet they won a title.

But obviously a market like Washington isn’t winning with incompetent management. They haven’t had strong ownership in 40 years.

Cleveland is well managed. And I still don’t think they are winning.

Neither do you.

Not incompetent enough to turn away Lebron or AD acquisitions (or unfortunately a Westbrook one).

It sucks, but it's true...

Looking forward to some major house cleaning. I'd think it has to happen at some point...

See what I mean? The fact that this comment bothers you… Cleveland. Plain and simple. They have a Napoleonic complex because in the world of sports they walk around with a micro penis.

Trades should have happened awhile ago.

I just don’t get why they are waiting.

Maybe the Lakers tax is real?

Front office has their head in the sky for a BIG trade, someone like Beal or LaVine. Damn it we need a proven president of basketball operations hired. Can't have Pelinka and the Rambii steering the ship....

Milwaukee yes. Utah yes.

San Antonio no.

It is the cold weather small markets. That is what I have always said.

Yes Cleveland bucked it once with LeBron, and Milwaukee once with Giannis. It clearly isnt impossible. Have never once said that it was.

Not impossible, just something I will always bet against. And I will take the 1 in twenty years when I am wrong and bet that 1 won’t be Cleveland.
This is true, but after the Knicks last title one could have made the bet they wont win another in the next 50 years......and unless they win it this year they'd have won that bet.

Your takes on the Lakers remind me of that scene in Dead Poet’s Society when Neil blows his brains out and his mother comes in to the study and keeps saying “He’s alright! He’s alright! He’s alright!” And it’s like lady…his brains are on the fucking floor. He’s not alright. He’s not going to be alright. The top end of the Lakers “dream” for this season is a play in game win and the right to get swept out of the first round.

Shop, the only team the Clippers can beat consistently is the Lakers.

We are the tallest midget.

You can’t use the 1 damn free throw excuse when missing them late is a thing your stars do often.
