Now that everything is supposedly worked out, it should be fun to see what happens. The talent on that team is crazy. Problem is...that's both literally and figuratively. Lol
Good thing they have a great coach to sort it all out and get things squared away.

Yup, it was looking like Simmons was going to have some distractions to fall back on but now the focus will be squarely on him. Not where he is his best lol.

I don't love the Nets offseason.

Even before the KD crazieness.

They have 3 SGs who are all basically the same guy.

They need to add some size in the middle of that D (cough cough Whitesiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide).

They lost their best wing defender and didn't really replace him (I guess the theory is he can't play with Ben?

And they didn't use their MLE to add wing or size depth.

Strong disagree with this.

If they get off to a rough start all eyes will be on if KD goes full Butler or Kyrie starts looking if the Taurus is out of place in his shakras and he needs to take a 2 month sabbatical to rectify his auras.

KD will play like KD and I would expect Irving to play well. That puts all eyes on Simmons and his lack of development.

Who misses more games this season that flat Earther or that quitter BS?

Tough question to answer.

Kyrie could get in yet another one of his moods and say he needs more me time to clear his head.

And BS, if any writers in Brooklyn say something negative about him his fragile feelings will get hurt and he could refuse to play.

Definitely Kyrie. Word is that he only intends to be available for around 60 games with no back to backs.

Oh holy hell really?

That's just insane. But expected outta Kyrie.

I wonder how many of his teammates really trust him?

You can add KD to that list.

They said on Dan Patrick this morning that over the last 8 seasons, KD has averaged 41 games per season and Kyrie has averaged 46.

To be fair, that included KD missing about a season and a half because of the Achilles and Kyrie sat out the bubble serason and missed a ton of games last year because he didn't want the vaccine.

But still kind of surprising.

Kinda surprised they didn't throw KD a bone and fire Nash, easy way to get rid of a bad coach. Then again, ownership knew they had him beat and didn't want to give in to a player running the front office like that.

I think what's going on in Brooklyn right now is hilarious. Poor Steve Nash. What did he get himself into?

The Nets are the only team that should have a psychiatrist sitting on the bench.

Over/under...

62 games for the flat Earther

58 games for KD (he's one of the best in the world when health, problem is the injury bug has kicked his ass the couple of years)

50 games BS actually plays this season

Due to Irving's me-first attitude I can see him easily missing 20 games this season.

100% crap-shoot because nobody knows if KD's body will hold up for the entire season

And just like KD it's impossible to guess how many games BS will play. I don't know if BS really has the love for the game needed to play at the highest level. If I was a Nets fan I wouldn't trust him.

Not if they use Simmons properly in a Dray-type role, IMO.

Ben Simmons single-handedly destroyed the Nets without even taking the court

You think he was the difference between the Nets getting swept and winning the series? I doubt it.
