This one is going to be a big, big test. In the last game against them it looked like we could play with them for the first 10 minutes or so, but then it fell apart. I think it's fair to say that we need to stay out of the box and play way, way better. Also, Adam being able to play would be fantastic.

It would be nice if we played like we can compete out there vs the Bruins. This game last time left me a bitter taste in terms of our energy and hustle.

Lets see if our Devils can truly bring it.

Hopefully all their scoring was wasted vs the Jets.

You have a damn good chance at 2 points in this one... We looked like shit in our trip to the Sunshine State. We luckily got 2 points from the Panthers and played way too inconsistent in TB.

Jeff, dont give us false hope. This is going to be a slaughter. 1) The Bs are still the best in the league. They're just on another level. 2) we'll probably be looking forward to the Flyers game, possibly the 3rd best in the league.

Id love to see a rested Moose get the nod here..Marty has looked good lately but I dont want Deboer falling into the old trap that so many past coaches have fell into with Marty.

Moose played Boston fairly well last time out.

Regardless of whos in net the devils better play more physical than the last game against the bruins if they want any chance to win.We were very soft against Boston especially on the puck and boards.

I think Moose will get in net for one of the next 3 games. Otherwise it will be about 3 weeks until the next back to back series. I'm looking at Buffalo. They're the weakest of the next three teams and they're a non-divisional opponent.

Uh oh. 3-1 Boston. Wheels have fallen off the bus. Too bad too, we were really dominating this one for the first 45 minutes. I figured we'd have to play a pretty perfect game to beat Boston, and it just wasn't quite that for the Devils.

After they hit that crossbar early in 3rd, I could just see the Bruins would come back. Too bad because Devils played well. You simply can't make any mistakes against Boston. They are too good.

marty being marty....flopping around on the 2nd goal and cant control the rebound on the 3rd. yeah the devils controlled the play for the 1st and 2nd...but they didnt really seem to be trying all that hard to score the 2nd goal. yes they hit some pipes but they were lucky shots by the defense and brad mills
