You'd think these guys would learn something from the Ruggs incident but no.

Help me understand why you refuse a breathalyzer if you haven't been drinking
Why would you take the 5th if you don’t have anything to hide?

Why would you hire a lawyer if you are innocent?

Why would you refuse a search if you have nothing to hide?

98? racing to take a dump?
I'd been stuck behind someone who was pacing a tractor trailer at 60 for about 3 miles.
He would creep up to the front and almost give me enough room to pass him in the slow lane then he would back off until he was almost behind the tractor trailer again. Then he would ease on the gas and slowly creep all the way to the front of the tractor trailer again before backing off again. This cycle repeated itself a number of times before he gave me an extra inch and I put my foot in the turbos.
Only takes a second for the SHO to go from 60 to 100. Only takes a micro second for the trooper, who I didn't see because I was pinned between a minivan and the semi, to lock me in.

I would have made the trooper work for it, but my daughter was with me.

Most states it ends up being the cops discretion but anything over 20 can be called reckless op
Yeah. I pulled right over and waited for him as soon as I saw the blue lights. I was hoping that "good gesture" was going to get me a reduced fine...maybe it did.

I was pulled over once for 109 in a 55.

Cop cut me a huge break and wrote me up for 64.
I went by a cop at 110 in a 30. I was going so fast he didn't even have time to clock me.
I know this because I pulled over about a 1/4 mile up the road and got all my papers ready, got out, lit a cigarette and waited for him.
When he pulled in I said "Hey Danny" and he said "YT, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?"
I got a defective equipment ticket and strict orders tat I better not fight it.

Damn, at least I was on an open freeway, in the middle of the desert

Yeah..I was...not.

I was 18 and had a "Five Oh" back when that was a new phrase.

That was MANY years ago.
Things were different back then. Things like...the quality of cops, traffic flows, small town kid antics.

Well, everything but the last.

I wasn't much older.

My car had a digital speedometer that just blinked at 85 and above.

Cop asks if I knew how fast I was going.

My answer was "Well, I know I'm supposed to be able to tell you exactly how fast, BUT my speedometer is digital and blinks at 85 so I was doung at least that." He nodded slightly and said "I got you at 109". I slumped and said "Shit, I didn’t think this car could go that fast".

I think my being polite and in the Military kept the cuffs off of me.

Thank you for your service to our great country and all of it's dumbasses that do not appreciate it as much as they should!

I clocked myself at approx 124 in my Mustang when I was about 19 driving cross country. I wasn’t pulled over, but I still rank that as one of the more stupid things I have ever done.

I loved that car though. Same trip, I was making a legal pass of a truck (in the fast lane) when the truck decided to change lanes and basically drove me off the road. I dropped from 5th to 4th and slammed on the gas and I went from about 70 to 100 almost instantaneously. To this day, I believe the balls of that car saved my life in that situation, and still believe that 0-60 is a stupid trait to worry about, but 70-100 can be a life saving trait in a car.
